Original McCarty treble and bass pickups included, but I've installed Lindy Fralin UnBuckers, a treble bleed circuit on the volume pot and a boutique .022 tone cap. The changes eliminate the "sterile" aspect ot the McCarty and give you exceptionally good humbucker and single coil tones. The guitar has strong structural resonance and natural acoustic sustain. A great guitar for just about any application. The coil split function is activated by a push/pull on the tone pot.

The frets are in excellent shape, the truss rod works perfectly , the electronics work exactly as they should, with no noise or other issues. This is a solid, versitile guitar that is perfect for the player. Well set up with low action and no buzzes. Ready to gig.

Cosmetic condition is a conservative 8.5/10. The back and neckaree in remarkably clean shape, but there are several small nicks on the top and a couple of finish chips on the edges. If you don't need "mint and pristine", this will work perfectly for you and save you a few hundred dollars. See the photos for details. I used bright lighting on the closeups to show the finish issues. The actual color of the finish is best represented by the first and last photo.

Since I bought the guitar at Guitar Center, I do not have the original PRS Case or any of the paperwork. I'll ship it in a gigbag inside Gibson ES-335 hardshell case ( a bonus if you happen to have a 335 or Newport without a case!).

$1,200.00 plus $50 shipping and PayPal fees (or use PP gift). I can also take a money order or check.

Not a bad deal considering the Fralins cost $260/set direct from Lindy.

That is dreamy. If I hadn't already bought the MotorAve as my dream guitar that would be SOLD. Guys, buy it today and still qualify for the 2014 challenge!

To answer a couple of questions:

Weight is 7 lbs, 14 oz.

Yes, I can omit the 335 case and pack it really well. Subtract $50 from the price

I'm not looking for trades, but feel free to offer if you have something interesting.

I'd be willing to reinstall the original pickups, keep the Fralins and reduce the price to $1,000.00 including shipping (US only).

Yes, chrome and in pretty good condition.

This is a real deal USA made one right? Add $1k to your asking price and post on that really big forum. This is priced RIGHT. Best to seller and buyer.

The imports don't look anything CLOSE to that one!

That one looks familiar... (Badger and I have been known to trade guitars back-and-forth on a few occasions).

We have, but that's not one of them.

Mine has the masked binding and moons. I bought it at the Rockford Guitar Center.

Still, we do seem to have similar tastes in guitars!

Thanks, all.

Oh yeah, you're right.

Definitely not worth 12 grand.

Now...where the hell did I get that purple PRS??
