Sounds just like my Purple Plexi Boost pedal without the boost. The Modern is the Church of Tone and I really like the midrange hump and a bit more top, when comparing to the Purple Plexi side. Both together are killer. What pedal can you buy for $130 that sounds like this? Fantastic. Would it be pretentious of me to say it sounds better with a battery? Because it does, for some reason. Sean, the builder, goes so far as to say that some of his pedals sound best with a plain cheap carbon battery, not the alkalines or anything fancy.

Eric Johnson loves the old RayOVac silver ones. But I'm not going to try to find those. Just the old Duracell.
Hbom Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Lovepedal recommends the GI Super Heavy Duty batteries. Maybe because they are thirty-five cents each in bulk. http://www.batteriesandbutter.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=NBSEOLINK&thecode=22169VOLT

Yup. Those are the ones I buy. Couldn't remember the manufacturer. But the GI in the Vintage Chrome sounds killer. That's the demo versus the wall wart adaptor. Playing a big gig next Friday. I'll have a Dollar General cheapie in the tweed suitcase, just in case.
joshoowah Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Got me BoA, 200lbs, and naked OD11. Should keep me occupied for a good while...

The BoA and 200# have me interested, but as my better half bent a rim about this time last evening, I'm sitting this one out. Some day!

Those three are absolutely incredible....the 200# is a fuzz face into a Tubescreamer. Your guitar volume knob is your best friend wth that pedal. It is the sound of 70s classic rock in a box. And the OD11 is just the perfect overdrive...unless you added a tube screamer type to it.. and then you have the BOA! so you killed it with 3 most excellent choices.
stonge Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Just got an email with the shipping notification and tracking. Looking forward to checking it out.

stonge Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Super Six Stevie Mod. The video by texas blues alley closed the deal. Been watching videos for their other Fender amp-in-a-box pedals (Champ, Blackface Deluxe etc). I don't need another pedal obsession (Wampler covers that for me) but I suspect I will be keeping half an eye out for Lovepedal sales.
bubs_42 Posted October 24, 2019 Author Posted October 24, 2019 IMHO, everyone needs to jump on the Naked OD11. Not only a fantastic stand along pedal but it combines with other pedal like no other.

I find that it stacks very well with other pedals and adds a “vintage” warmth to my tone with just right amount of treble bite and gain. Like the OD11, it is a great tool.

I would have tried a couple of the others but I'm waiting for a deluxe Keeley modded TS9 to drop into Reverb or wherever.
Jakeboy Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 I have some Lovepedals that are redundant and I am gonna post them for sale this weekend.

Haven't plugged it in yet.
RobB Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Plex100 +Boost on the way. Ohboyohboyohboyohboy..!

bubs_42 Posted October 26, 2019 Author Posted October 26, 2019 SIDE NOTE: Anyone that gets a LV Naked Pedal of any kind needs to remember that there is no isolation between the case and your 1/4 plug. So those using 3 Monkey Cables or similar you will need to use the shrink wrap around the plug including a little overhang on the face. That way you don't short your connection.
stonge Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 What are the differences between the regular and naked versions? I picked up the SRV so naked and am really happy with it so far.
