I have 8 or 9 early 80's Vectors... 1 with a neck repair... but I think I'm going to check all my parts, "necks, bodies, pickups and damaged guitars" that have been sitting around that I've never got around to do anything with first... orrrrrrrr I might just say fuk it & sell 1 or 2 Les Pauls and call it done... 🤣

I must admit I’m pretty keen to see everything! Guitars, pickups bits and bobs - all sorts.

Great!.. I'll check on making a list this weekend... I just sold one of my old skateboards on Ebay for $2k so I'll at least have grocery money this week 🤣

I scratched my nuts on this one , had conversations with river city about it , then it sold

I just saw it pop back up for sale and had seen this thread before so I came here to check back. Was there a problem with it or just buyer's remorse over the price? Either would be understandable, honestly. If it was that there was some kind of problem, it would be nice to know for anyone else thinking of making an offer. River City actually has another Standard listed, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It was refinished to look like the granite countertop in my kitchen, a four digit serial number is listed but it appears from the picture to have been removed, and the pickups aren't the zebra pickups that had been in other standards. Anyone with thoughts?

This was truly a sight that gave me sore eyes. Damn, what a train wreck. Those inlays can't be original either... 7K? 😮 

I wonder what it looked like before they re-finished it with this green puke vomit.

Yeah, whoever made this Standard look like my kitchen counter should be charged with crimes against humanity. They list the serial number but it's not visible in the pictures if it survived the refinish. For all we know, it could be Korean. The pickups don't look original either. You'd have to pour a bunch of money into this to make it anything like a Standard. What a mess.
