cmatthes Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Those are GREAT!Thanks for sharing. Quality time with the kids whenever you can get it is the best - even better when it's doing something you both enjoy.
sw686blue Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Fantastic! It's so cool to see your son following in your footsteps!!Awesome.
Mad Man Mike Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Looks great seeing this between a Father and Son. Better watch out DAD the SON may be catch up to you and if you ever have a battle of the guitars with him. He may shut you down. There again humble pie is something to eat DAD. Keep up with the great togetherness that you two have together it is something that in todays family's environment to see this.
MCChris Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 are you abusing MM's over hamers these days? Yeah .... where's your custom built short-scale Chap?
anotherfreak2 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Hey! looks Great! Thanks for sharing the love
edgar_allan_poe Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Your boy may have the chops...but you still have the look bro!. LOL!! Give him some hair pointers when you get the chance.
cmatthes Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Hair advice coming from Poe is like having Beetlejuice do your taxes.
Bruiser Brody Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Cool pics!Kevin, you're dead-ringer for a roommate I had back in Denton,TX with the exception that your hair is actually yours.
Guest JackButler Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 "Those are GREAT! Thanks for sharing. Quality time with the kids whenever you can get it is the best - even better when it's doing something you both enjoy." CM, you are so welcome...and thanks to the HFC for letting me share! He's warped for life with the whole guitar thing..lol..rem..this is the kid that asked Santa for the Hendrix boxed set when he was 4! "are you abusing MM's over hamers these days? " Hey Brooks, my Hamers have seen their road/gig time and since they're not making those particular models again..yeah..they're retired from active duty. The EBMM JP model is super comfy for long gigs and having the trem and the piezo and all in one guit make it a super flexible performance tool. Next one..I'm gonna put a sustainor in and have the trem, the sustainor and the piezo..so it'll be like a musical swiss army knife. "Yeah .... where's your custom built short-scale Chap?" MCC...sssshhhhhhhhhh...that's SUPPOSED to be a secret prototype! LOL! Poe, He actually used to have his hair all the way down to his waist..now he fluctuates between shoulder length and that spikey "electrified" porcupine hair-do! Now his middle sister, my 8 yr old is going to start playing..so he's feeling the competitive heat! LOL! Thanks everyone for taking the time to look...just wanted to share with everyone.. its nice to be able to share something like that with your kids..so I just thought I'd share with you all.
darc Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Jack, have you heard of the Paul Green School of Rock? This guy has set up a school to teach young kids about classic and progressive rock, and they perform w/ guest stars from the original bands - former members of King Crimson, Zappa etc. I'm told the shows are phenomenal.http://www.schoolofrock.com/
