Which model? MirageI (w/single-coils/blended heel) or MirageII (buckers/set neck)?

My guess would be a Mirage I. I don't think I have seen a Koa topped Mirage II.

Maybe like in Rob's sig?

nomanclature young Poe! in fact, ALL Mirage II are koa topped, there were 3 distinct Mirage models

Mirage (I)- 3 single coil size pups, blended heel, blower switch

Mirage II - koa top 2 humbuckers, normal heel

Mirage Mapletop- replaced the I&II as the last Mirage made, same specs as the II but w/ a mapletop ( duh )

I think I've seen that one iownit4 links to before! -a good one...

I've only seen 3 in real life, 2 model 1s, and the modelII that Rob now has, all in Koa (maybe because Washington state is so much closer to Hawaii than you guys on the E coast).

Do all the Koa Mirages have the trem system? I would go for a hardtail Koa Mirage in a heartbeat! Z

Believe me, the tremolo does not detract from the tone of the Mirage, just take the bar out and pretend its a hardtail. These are some of the best sounding Hamers ever, IMO.
