  2. Sold. Hope to someone here.
  3. …and now I can’t unsee it!!
  4. Yes, Mel on sawn with a fading off at the end typical of French nazality. Not Mel an can. RIP.
  5. Today
  6. Wow, that's nice. I could even overlook the first fret inlay on that one. : )
  7. Don't remember seeing any others in this color. Very nice, seems like a fair price. Hamer Custom Shop Artist Custom (2004) - Transparent Teal #53727 with Original Hard Case | Reverb
  8. Remember folks, if you blow off a finger this weekend, you'll still be able to play guitar but you'll have to practice way harder!
  9. Shane Theriot referred to his green one as a "mel-an-sahn" (I *think*). Is that right? I'm not too hip on the Cajun pronunciations. I'd always read it (never said it) as mel-an-kahn ("KAHN!" -JTK). Never heard of Gray, but I don't get out from between the swamps much.
  10. I looked at this but ended up with a Superblock US. Which has saved me a couple of times and sounds good anyway. The 101 has plenty of power and the AC supply built in. Downside is no balanced line out.
  11. Personally, I stopped watching these two long ago. These YT guys don't realize that most likely Google's been using everything they upload for years to train their AI and that's part of what they agree to by using it to make money? I haven't read the terms, but in another guy's video talking about this, Shull says he thinks he knows who's doing this but does he offer any proof of it? I wonder if they're getting trolled since they moan about fair use so much when they get a copyright claim.
  12. I have a couple of their MicroBlocks and they sound great. This is a no-brainer for a backup or grab-and-go.
  13. Quilter Amps is having a sale. The 101 Reverb head is on sale for $370 in your cart. Friday Only. Great sounding amp. EFX loop and Reverb. A priceless small backup to have in your car. https://www.quilterlabs.com/products/101-reverb?se_activity_id=200396177698&syclid=d93qpljp10dc73d91ie0&utm_campaign=🎆+DAY+3+—+30%+off+the+101+Reverb%2C+today+only_200396177698&utm_medium=email&utm_source=shopify_email
  14. I've got the same shorts on as that guy....
  15. The Five Watt World stuff is really great. I also love how honest he is about his own gear tendencies. There's one where he talks about having guitars that are almost "too good" to actually play, and revealed that his PRS S2 guitars are his number one players. He's also right that the Deluxe really is the sweet spot for vintage Fender amps, if you want to drive them hard to get some nice chewiness. Sure you can do it with a twin but you'll level your house. So many of the popular mods for Fender amps are fore the Deluxe.
  16. you got shanes artist with the HFC stamped on the headstock?
  17. And… I bought it. Do I need two? No. But it could be fun to experiment with different pickups (I have Creamery Firebird pickups in my Newport, and they make a version of those that come in P90 covers; 3xFB could be a thing), or convenient to keep one at church while the other's at the house. Or, maybe @velorush will get his wish.
  18. Yesterday
  19. So it was funny like comedy used to be.
  20. The chair is comfortable and well built. I like the pattern too. There will be an upcharge on shipping the chair.
  21. Cumia did a hilarious video about 13yrs ago, “Dicis.” Imagine Andrew Dice Clay moving to the Middle East and joining ISIS. YouTube pulled it after a few weeks. It was offensive on so many levels, lol!
  22. I just bought a nearly identical guitar at the end of January from Shane Theriot (this one), paid more than this guy's asking. I swapped the rotary for a Free-Way 3X3 switch and wired for two volumes and one tone. It's pretty sweet—Strat-like with the volume rolled down, beefier turned up, and I can use neck+bridge as well as the five stock positions. @topekatj, I also have the 2-pickup version of this guitar and am thinking I'll sell it, now that I've got the 3-pickup version and have concluded the middle pickup isn't getting in my way. LMK if you're interested. I bought it three years ago from a guy on the HFC, and it came to me with Mojotone '56 Quiet Coil P-90s installed. I also got a pair of P90-sized TV Jones Classics to experiment with in it; currently it's got the Mojotone in the neck and the TV in the bridge, but swapping back would be no trouble. I'm in no rush to sell, but it's been sitting idly in the closet while I've been getting to know the new one.
