  5. We play that every gig. Picked up some pointers
  6. This "Wind" you speak of, is that the noun or the verb?
  7. Love that song! Oh yeah, alright Take it easy baby Make it last all night She was an American girl 🤘
  8. If you are over (fill in the blank), don’t sweat changing string gauge or neck size. There only used to be Black Diamond strings at the drug store! There is a long list of great players with varied string preferences. My left hand started bothering me about 2 years ago. The following things seem to have helped me - Noticed how and how long I hold my iPad. Same could be said if you use the computer keyboard a lot. I think this helped me more than I would have guessed. Retire. Stress relief and providing time to take care of yourself. Exercise. Doesn’t have to be hand or wrist related. Resistance training builds strength and tone of the forearms and wrists. There are two older books that provide slow weight training methods. Only exercise once a week, maybe twice, and keep moving otherwise. ā€œThe Slow Burn Fitness Revolutionā€ and ā€œThe Power of Tenā€. Easy on the joints, not likely to injure yourself. I’m probably in as good shape as I was 20 years ago when I was doing it regularly. Restarted almost 2 years ago, I’ll be 69 in September. Eat a somewhat healthy diet. That and exercise allowed me lose weight since retirement. My A1C, etc is great. Eating stuff with lots of refined sugar makes me feel blah. Alcohol included, so I don’t drink so much. Play regularly. I can still feel some stiffness and soreness on occasion. From not playing regularly or from a flurry of playing a lot. But things improved as I started to play more. Monday night acoustic jam, Tuesday night band practice, Thursday Open Mic (acoustic) and weekend gigs more often than not. As far as meds, I rarely take a NSAID or Tylenol, usually for other body pain. Cannabis can help, side effects well known and often desirable. I have found I don’t play as well live using it - save an occasional one drink at the start of the night, I stay straight when I gig. Can wind down when I git home. My state has medical and I have a card. @gorch has a book on Reflexology on Amazon, there is a post. Didn’t try it, but almost got it. May get it anyway. Many of us are getting to an age where lots of physical things can happen. It is a bit of luck and genetics in play. I am doing what I can as long as it works.
  9. Exactly. Jardiance users are almost thrilled to have Type 1 Diabetes. Look at this clown's face. He couldn't be happier to have "that sugar."
  10. The only time I really took notice was the bubbly, over-produced, choreographed(!) commercial for Jardiance which included the side effect of necrosis of the perineum(!). Taint Rot?! No thank you!
  11. Every hack comedian has done bits about the side effects of medications, but the commercials still make me laugh. The best are the medications that cause the illness it is intended to treat, like the asthma medication that causes shortness of breath, or the psoriasis pill that could give you a burning, itchy rash. I would bet money that they're convinced most people just aren't listening. They see the heavy woman dancing around, almost overjoyed that she has diabetes that they don't listen to the lawyer stuff.
  12. And that could be the least of their worries.
  13. That one looks to have had some minor retouching. 🫣
  14. My jazzburst SP came to me with a set of SD APH-2s in it. I haven't had any desire to swap em out yet! I know some people like a hotter set, but this is a great compliment to the guitar, with virtually any boost in front of my 6G2 offering up anything from fat cleans to southern grind to Cream-y goodness with the volume knob. I like. A lot.
  15. Thanks for the tip, how bizarre! Here is another that shows up under Hamer guitar but not Hamer. Or maybe it was Hamer USA https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Hamer-Usa/Used-Hamer-Usa-Eclipse-Trans-Red-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar.gc?algoliaQueryID=d7a75f09b122d3711f4f092dd16fc518&algoliaIndexName=guitarcenter
  16. If anyone ever needed increased light sensitivity, peripheral vision kaleidoscopic dazzle effects, itchy skin rash and diminished/altered sense of taste, I have about a two-month supply of voriconazole in the medicine cabinet. I think I'll hang on to the leftover Vicodin. It may come in handy some day.

  18. You can search for Hamer or Hamer Guitar. I search all the time with different spellings and such. Sometimes you get a hit. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Hamer-Usa/Vintage-Vintage-1986-Hamer-Usa-Miller-Music-Red-Gold-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar-122120949.gc?algoliaQueryID=2b893837c481f661d0febac2dc64da6e&algoliaIndexName=guitarcenter
  19. If any human ever actually needed diarrhea, he apparently need only take any prescription marketed over the last 30 years. Problem solved.
  20. Check your YouTube history. I’m sure it’s in there somewhere.
  21. Always wondered if Spidey had to use a step-stool for said rumbles, and how they were made available? Maybe they were rentals?

  23. Look in your area to see if any trophy shops that have an engraving machine. They may be able to engrave one for you for a few $.
  24. Wow! I sense a theme... ETA: just checked my go to for custom pickguards, Terrapin Guitars and they offer them, as well, if you're looking for options. Truss Rod Cover - custom styles, engraving and options Great Scott! Is $32 the going rate? Going to coin a phrase here (just made this up): And what would the charge be for a single unit of item in question?
