Thanks guys. And, for the record, if I had an Ultimate I certainly wouldn’t sell it. I still adore my Shishkov’s. Super-C 1 is fast approaching 10 years old and is as amazing as it ever was. Both Super-C’s are incredible in their own way.

Zorrow is an awesome person. He's super considerate, funny, and has many gifts of talent. He assisted me in buying his guitar using payments like a couple other of my Favorite HFCers. You know who you are and thank you all for selling me one offs, rare and choice Hamers. I saw his Double SN 4 Digit and Stamped 84 Flying Vee on Sunday. What a beautiful looking and playing guitar. I wanted to start making payments but it going to someone special. What a heart to help someone try to reunite their sold guitar and get it back to the owner that loved it. I'm sure his Flying Vee will end up in the hands of BTMN who will cherish it as long as possible. Thank you, Zorrow! I love the Standard. Hope you changed the status on the posting to SOLD All the best to everyone who sold a piece of equipment that connected their heart and soul to sound waves. Keep looking and fill the hole. Best of luck to BTMN!!! Zorrow, you're awesome. Ham Rex Martin

I was going to see him in November, in Argentina... we get to see many legends become immortals😪

You’ve really got to be shoveling out guitars by the truckload to make a mistake like that! … or really need some sleep … or really need to lay off the cannabis

On Sunday, I ordered a 2005 Newport Pro in Vintage Natural from Empire Music. UPS delivered a guitar box today, I opened it up, and inside was… this Newport Pro with an amber flamed maple top and victory inlays on an Ebony board. They did send me the right case, though—in the guitar I actually ordered, someone had swapped out the Seth Lovers for Lollar Imperials and put different knobs on it, and the original pickups and knobs were in the case pocket. Seeing as the guitar they sent me is listed for a $999 more than the one I bought, I'm surprised they weren't a bit more careful. Anyway, they sent me a return shipping label and promised to overnight me the other Newport (in the maple Newport's case) as soon as they see I've dropped this one off at UPS.

Seriously, I lost count of how many sentences I typed then deleted after I typed "... 1986." There is literally nothing else I could type that wouldn't have been worthy of a Moderator warning - and who needs any of that? One of the great things about the HFC and I will absolutely do my best to keep it that way.

But seriously, sorry for your trouble and glad it got resolved.

It appears that DBraz' entire account was hacked by a Moroccan fraudster. That's been shut down and he should be all good now, but definitely a reminder to change your passwords here, there and everywhere at least as often as when you change the batteries in the home smoke detectors!

Wow, I almost bit on that Ultimate 😳 Was your PM hacked as well?

Mad! Was that the brief FS thread for an Ultimate?

Hey guys, I don’t post or visit this site much these days. Not for a lack of love. Life… Anyway, I hope you are all doing well. I play and record with my Hamer’s and Shishkov’s regularly. But I am not currently selling any of them. Someone seems to have taken advantage of my absence and posted that they are selling guitars. It looked like me, but it wasn’t me. My account has now been reset and this message is a polite point in case any of you were mislead. Dbraz

Wow, I didn't know he had been sick. Reading that he had formally left March 2026, after leaving in late 2025 for surgery that was expected to cause a temporary absence. Jeez that sucks. Any, looks like the tour goes on. Thankfully Elwood has been with the band for decades already, and there's also lots of long time staff there to keep things going as long as BFG wants to. I just pulled up this rig rundown from 15 years ago and man did Elwood look different
