  2. Regerts? I've had a few. I'd take these two back. Took some pics of these two around the same time. The black one is the best sounding stock Fender I've ever owned (Roadhouse from '97). The green one (allegedly Sherwood green but IMO way too dark for true Sherwood) is the worst sounding Fender I've ever owned. You've had those guitars that no matter what pickups are in it it still sounds terrible? Lastly, the current pair of partscasters. The Stretchocaster II on the right is about to be torn back down for Lake Placid blue and a new tort guard. It has become an absolute favorite (Fender Player II hollow mahogany body - the whole guitar weighs right at 6 lbs.) ChatGPT helped me visualize the LPB version: From: To:

  4. It’s OK, just one of the many lies of Hulk Hogan.
  5. Amendment enthusiastically accepted! I Googled and found this (Sustain Block Trem) that CME sold some time back:

  7. Don't forget to include Hulk Hogan auditioning to play bass in Metallica.
  8. Union Jack? That with a Union Jack graphic (and no headstock break) would be incredible! Anyone got one they could post?
  9. Wow, crazy good collections! Makes me wonder the HFC membership guitar net worth could be.
  10. If we’re going way back… 1989 Charvel 750xl’s. Made in Japan for one year only. Thick mahogany body, carved maple top, 24.75” mahogany set neck with blended heel to appear neck thru. If a Les Paul was built for shredding… The trans red and the CSB in the middle had sequential serial numbers. The plain CSB on the right sounded ungodly….
  11. Na, its dick change. He's got way more vaulted.

  13. Two Watsons. wtf. (nice)
  14. She's cool with bats biting her leg too. I'd be screaming like a little bitch, swatting at the thing. And then stomping it to death. She just asked someone to come get it and said she and the bat are okay. Then went on with the concert.
  15. She's come such a long way from Cindy Lou Hoo...
  16. Music is such a different world nowadays... And i'm glad that she's taking full advantage of her fifteen minutes of fame 😃👌
  17. I should just show this in class instead of lecturing today. "Guys, today we're learning about how Hacksaw Jim Duggan got fired from Van Halen." This is the news!
  18. That’s a nice one. I wonder if the pricing bodes well for my two Protos?
  19. Ha! I said that it looked like it had nearly bled out from the headstock break. For a short while I was trying to value it for my own purposes, but I didn't get as far as coming down on a number when I heard the asking price and switched to PSA mode. Pros: 80's Blitz, Hamer-quality mahogony of that era Non-paddle headstock Slammer pickups? Graphic finish Original HSC Nearby me, so no shipping Cons: Wear and tear Headstock repair Is the Kahler a pro or a con? I've never handled one, but I certainly see a lot of ridiculing of them, although I can't always tell if it's the Kahler itself or questionable quality conversions.
  20. Gnarly headstock repair is an understatement….whoever did it couldn’t be bothered just to wipe off the excess or squeeze out?
  21. Like @Saul Goodman, I was a monster fan through Fair Warning….somehow 1984 didn’t do it for me (I know, I know). I bought 5150 and really dug some of those tunes, but they lost me after that. MA surely helped make that band what it was. Hard rock with those pretty BGVs was really novel and different. Plus he was and is a fine bassist.
