Carl.B Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 No affiliation I know there are a few of you that have more coin than I do. 5K is out of my price range. CL 79 Standard
dgstandard Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 A fellow was on the message board last week with the username "guitar1" stating this one was for sale. Here's a few more pictures.
FiguredMaple Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Imagine the custom Hamer they'd build for you for $5K.
guitar1 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Imagine the custom Hamer they'd build for you for $5K. some people like vintage better
gorch Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Imagine the custom Hamer they'd build for you for $5K. You'd have to wait another 30 years to return full funds on a 5k custom build. I'd be running up to the 80s by then. Boring calculation, I know.
Disturber Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 not good on the separation.Ahh, just press a few boogers in there and press tight. That's rock n roll.

Ahh, just press a few boogers in there and press tight. That's rock n roll. Some wood screws and a drill will fix that puppy quick (ducking and running).
Crwth145 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 That's a good one... I wonder what it might cost to repair correctly...
tbonesullivan Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 IF I had the cash for that, i'd probably offer $4k. That neck joint is not cool, and as said before, you can have the ultimate hamer custom standard made for that much cash, and I have no doubts it'll be an incredible guitar. It needs a trip to Greg though, for a neck joint repair and some photos.
cmatthes Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Nothing some bondo, sandpaper and a can of red Krylon won't fix!
cynic Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 IF I had the cash for that, i'd probably offer $4k. If the neck falls the rest of the way off, I hear Samick makes a fine replacement!
