  1. Fujigen 1990 Epiphone SG-70.
  2. Thanks for that, some great playing by both of them, true masters of the guitar. Here a video of the interview Rick Beato did with Joscho.
  3. My experience was back in the day, late 1980s/1990s till around 2019 was the last one I shipped personally. Last 3 guitars were shipped but not by me, I brought them to a friend of the buyer/s and they shipped them. These days all the different shippers are unreliable unfortunately. I'm in southern Minnesota and I know we have the same issues as you do here.
  4. Back in the day I shipped more than a few guitars by the USPS "Express" Mail and if it was shipped by 3:00 that day the package was guaranteed to be there the next day at its destination anywhere in the CONUS. They were all $120.00. The guitars all made it in time and as shipped except for one that went to another location in the same state, so it was late by a day, and I got my money back. So that guitar shipped for free, how times have changed. Needless to say, I have haven't shipped a guitar in years.
  5. He has owned a ton of gear through the years. All the most amazing stuff but...................he usually hangs on to it for a while, some longer than others but then he flips them, no matter what it is. Think he still has his 70's Gibson Les Paul which was one of the first if not the first guitar he owned. That is a nice Hamer Sunburst, not mint by any means at 3k, whew how times have changed. He had a very rare Black 3 pickup SG Custom that I would have loved to owned.
  6. While I'm pleased to see Hamer guitars finally getting their recognition as really great instruments, the prices on some of them are insane what some sellers are asking. So, the question was "Who's Buying"?, at the prices shown at the beginning of this post............ no one.
  7. If someone wants to cut one loose, you will find it here. Limited edition of only 30 I believe. Good Luck!
  8. Some of my fav interviews that Rick does is with these guys, so much history.
  9. My parents loved George Jones he sure loved "WHITE LIGHTING".
  10. Yes that is strange. Never saw this version of the band but saw an early show with Brad Delp and later with Fran Cosmo who IMHO actually I thought was the best.
  11. Dave....................you mean if I look out my window on a rainy day it still could show up? šŸ˜‰
  12. I told this guitar story here quite some time ago. Had a new Fender Telecaster ordered from a guitar store and after some delays it finally showed up. It was finished white but there was some yellow staining on it, from what I do not know but it came that way from Fender so........... I asked for a refund as I found another Tele at another store. The owner assured me he could get me another within a week and he would knock a little off the price as well, so I said OK. He said he had an old 50's gold top Gibson Les Paul that just came in and I could use that till my guitar came in. Well, a week and some days went by and still no Tele so I said I want me money back and he said hey just keep that old used Gibson if you want it and we will call it square, so I said good, sounds fair to me. Sometime later he asked could I return the guitar and he would refund all my money, I wanted to keep it as it played and sounded great, this guitar had P-90 pickups BTW. A kid brought that guitar in apparently and sold it to the store for a cash, it was his father's guitar that he had taken and sold. I reluctantly agreed to bring it back; I loved that guitar and wished I could have kept it and still think about it today but.................you can finish the rest of the story.
  13. I could never own a guitar that I knew that was used to scam [STEAL] someone's money from them. Bad vibes every time I looked at it much less played it. Bad vibes in spades with a guitar like that.
  14. When I was still active playing out, I did the sound for all the bands I was in. Real simple stuff back in the day and everything was analog back then which I have always said sounds better than digital..........opinions vary on that of course. I love listing to this guy and all that is involved in doing sound for all the different artists he has worked for through the years. Some of the stuff, the logistics of doing live sound for a major band is as he says mind blowing. I'll put up the first interview he did with Rick some months ago and this new one. Interesting to me at least.
  15. I wish you all the best for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. My neighbor several homes removed from me here in my neighborhood had this surgery your speaking of 12 months ago, since then he says he feels like a new man. More energy, more drive to want to get up and do things and get them done, and a new joy about living life in general. I hope all this is true for you. Take Care.
  16. Blue Oyster Cult should defiantly be in it......................... long ago. Great band! Poor quality video and sound here but...................... Buck Dharma!
  17. No it's not..............things look so out of proportion................just like the price.
  18. And at that point in my life, I totally agree, it WAS so much fun! But..................I'm not that guy anymore. Now with this guitar that I have and these amps I can still do all I want to do and look back at all those I was fortunate enough to enjoy.
  19. Well I'm going to hit 73 this year, still I play every day and still enjoy it. I'm down to one guitar and 2 amps, all I need at this point. Found the one guitar I had been looking for decades so I'm good to go till I'm off the planet. I had at one time close to 50 guitars at any one time, I remember inviting friends over, and they always had the same response, why do you have all this? Pretty much all debt free at this point so I COULD buy more gear, but then my wife would be dealing with liquating all that. It's been a great run.
