Some of these I'm sure improved on some things from the old ones. But back in the day................I used a Goodrich H-10K. It is actually made for pedal steel guitar, loved it. It did everything I wanted it to do and nothing I didn't. I paid I think 50 60 bucks for mine and it was in perfect shape, now I see one and they are asking several hundred+. VERY RARE Goodrich Sound H-10k High Ten High Profile Passive Volume Pedal - Black EXCELLENT CONDITION | Reverb

Wow that is a great looking "S". Back when I first joined the HFC i REALLY wanted one of those, but I picked one up at a music store here in Minnesota and it was a tank. I had a great Gibson L-5S at one point...........I actually own 2 of them and they like this model were all maple, heavy and were a very bright sounding guitar.

ARM OF HAMER replied to velorush's topic in For Sale - Wanted to Buy - PIF - eBay & Other PSAs
That is a hell of a lot of $$$$ for something in such poor condition, yeah it is a RARE case.....................it's certainly rare in that condition.π² -
Yep, Fantastic singer and guitarist...............I think that is the same group that she did "WHITE RABBITT" with.

Cool! IMHO Hamer's best guitar model! -
So, I'm buying a Violin.......sort of.
ARM OF HAMER replied to The Shark's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Well the builder has certainly taken the whole "Violin" guitar concept to a whole another level. Pretty cool for sure, I've seen other makers with violin shaped guitars with the f holes but nothing like that one. Be interesting to hear your comments when you get it in hand. BTW didn't Hamer make a Violin shaped guitar? I know they made a bass version. -
While you MEDDLE.................new twist.

Beato does Schon, he's on a roll.
ARM OF HAMER replied to Saul Goodman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
It was a good interview..................Schon is an amazing guitarist w/o a doubt but he [Neil] kind of ran the interview not Rick. My favorite interview Beato did was not a by a "Musician" at all although one could argue that certainly as he shaped the sound of so many greats. I think his best interview was with Glyn Johns. -
Well lookie here. Beato does Wolfie.
ARM OF HAMER replied to Saul Goodman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Saw that and I thought it was a great interview. Huge talent in his own right, he is not riding on his daddy's coattails. He seems like he is really a nice down-to-earth guy who just loves music. I know it's comparing apples to oranges but he kind of reminds me a of Shawn Lane, not in the way he plays but just some of his mannerisms. -
Martin Barre...............Doubleneck? Hamer?
ARM OF HAMER replied to ARM OF HAMER's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Yes I watched a "Documentary" on Tull on You Tube here just the other day.................shows Martin with his "BURST" and of course his Black Hamer "Sunburst" then there just a very short snippet of him playing a double neck of some sorts but it was hard to tell just what it was. I saw Jethro Tull during that time period and he was always playing the Black Hamer, he had a White Hamer "Sunburst" also.............. at some point there was Strat also. -
Never a Kiss huge fan but you can't ignore their impact on the music world...............and Ace of course he started many guitarists on their Guitar/Musical journey. He lived a pretty rough life there for a while as did many others but just saying that can have an effect on you in your later years. Then there is Keith...............who is a complete "THRIVER" despite it all.
