  1. This from the guy who names his Spider Valve patches CrunchNMunch and Han Solo? Ummmmm no. And Ice Cream Man rules.
  2. He also might be including slotted tuners as part of the entire trem "system."
  3. Vintage trem is a 6-point trem. Yours looks like it has a 2-point.
  4. PLEASE don't let ANYONE touch a Sharpie to that guitar! That thing is beautiful!
  5. Maybe OP lives south of the equator?
  6. I think a letter bomb would be more apropos.
  7. Sadly, it seems hardly anyone shares your attitude. The paralyzing fear people have of getting even one negative is ridiculous. Rape victims are probably less afraid to testify against their attackers than most eBayers are about giving negative feedback where it's warranted. Probably the biggest reason why eBay does in fact suck.
  8. Damn, that was fast, all the way from Japan. Glad it arrived safely.
  9. Ice Cream Man? Sorry. Ummmmmmm .... Ice Cream Man rules.
  10. So's he if he drank that much Chimay. I would be.
  11. It's meaningless marketing speak, perpetuated by private sellers. I think if an actual guitar company used that term to pimp its wares, it'd be laughed out of the industry. At the very least, it should fire its copywriter. That said, my guess is that a lot of people who make the claim that PRSs have no "mojo" do so because they're less than thrilled with the sound of the proprietary pickups PRS insists on using. Doubt it has a whole lot to do with the resonance of the wood and whatnot.
  12. If I could only have one of the five guitars I own, it would be the PRS CE22 that I got used from BCR for less than $900. It's a bolt-on, so I can toss it in a gig bag without worry, and the trem is perfection.
  13. Wow, man. I posted this clip on The Gear Page and someone responded with this: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showpost....amp;postcount=3 That just made my day! If anyone wonders if it's worth it to have a MySpace page for your band, that's proof right there.
  14. He looks 10 years younger than I am, and I look 10 years older than he is. I hate him. That said, birthday wishes to a true friend. Have a good one!
  15. It is. Resembles Trey Anastasio's Languedoc, a true icon in the jam scene if ever there was one. Although your guitar is much cooler IMO.
  16. Only if you sit in with us, or better yet, let me play your Newport!
  17. "... and shoegaze. I am digging it." Those are the words of someone who posted a review on our site of the jam from which this clip was lifted: http://hereinliestherub.com/edits/FrancosEdit253.mp3 This is the final 5 minutes and change of the nearly 20-minute jam. No gained-out solos from me this time; just clean rhythm (panned to the left). Enjoy!
  18. That's what I love about the Tonemasters. The most portable high-quality 4x12s I know of. One person can lift 'em, and they fit in a deep trunk like the one in my Taurus. They can be had cheaply too; both of mine came in well under the HFC-approved price.
  19. I own two Fender Tonemaster 4x12s. I'll bring one if we ever play outdoors.
