The spray's no doubt been 'shopped in, which adds to the overall asshattery on display in that image. How sure are we that it's been photoshopped? I would've thought those kinds of shenanigans would be beneath Jol. Maybe he's spraying it with some kind of coolant to artificially age it?
I just had a look at Jol's blog. He says "Serving the client is only one side of the coin; just as fitting my designs into a template dictated by a company policy isn't my priority any longer." I don't get it. Who was dictating company policy to him?
What you call the chord depends on what its role is in the song. The OP said that the chord is being used as an A chord, so we should take his word for it.
Sounds like a sweet project. White with gold hardware works in a slightly girly showbiz kind of way:
If you want a trem, I'd recommend a Stetsbar over a Bigsby, having owned both.
My band is in the process of assembling our own background videos for our stage show. I'd really appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of the public domain sources you mention. PM would be fine. Again, nice work!
You really swung for the fences, very cool stuff! Agreed that the guitar synth sounds are great. I can only imagine how much work that must have been. How did you put the video together?
I still have some attachment to the brand, even though I don't own any Hamers currently. My tastes and priorities have changed, but I still think Hamer is a great brand and hope it survives this era.
