Going to see Cheap Trick tomorrow

Edited, slightly. -
If you like the way it sounds, there's certainly no reason to change it. As for the volume knob, that's certainly a lot easier to accomplish.

It happens to me periodically; the pages won't load, can't hit the Back button, nothing happens. When I check it against other sites (to see if it's this site or my network speed) they load quickly as usual.

Pitiful. Time to hang it up, guys. -
Very well done documentary! Highly recommended. I've been a DEVO fan since I saw them on SNL back in '77, so I'm surprised how little I knew about them. I knew they were from Ohio, but had no idea that they went to Kent State and witnessed the National Guard/"4 dead in O-Hi-O" incident. More importantly, I had no idea how cerebral they were. I always knew a lot of what they were doing/singing was meant to be funny, but so much of it was dark humor and a commentary on the US and humankind in general. I just thought they were being clowns and at the time, that's what I liked about them, beside the music, of course. Saw them in Central Park on a miserable August day in 1980 with my brother and sister. One of my fondest memories of the three of us being together and having fun. Some months later WPLJ (New York rock radio) aired the concert, so I did what every teen in the '80s would do - I recorded it off the radio. I wore out the tape over the years, but thanks to the wonderful world of the Internet, I was able to find the concert. DEVO - Live in Central Park - 08-21-1980

Have not seen Spinal Tap sequel discussed

The movie can not possibly be looked at as anything other than a money-grab. If you expect anything else, especially anything of any quality or originality, you're just begging to be disappointed. -

I'm with you on everything except that. Prepare yourself for a tremendous letdown. This has "Axle F.", "Coming 2 America", "Happy Gilmore 2", etc. written all over it: Nothing but cameos and callbacks to a movie's magic they're trying (and failing) to recreate decades after the fact. -

I'm very much looking forward to it running its course and then going away. I'm already sick of hearing about it. And "Wednesday" as well. -
Thanks! Watching it now!

Exactly.

Yeah, and a flute with no holes is not a flute. And a donut with no hole, is a Danish.

1959 Stratocaster Slab board, original everything except paint and frets. THE BEST Strat I have ever touched, so OF COURSE I sold it! 1958 Esquire Again, original everything except paint and frets. MONSTER pickup, fat neck with Malmsteen-esque wear divots in the fret board. It played and sounded like Jesus' Tele. 1995 Daytona The prototypical $350 Hamer but played and sounded pretty close to the $12,000 '59 Strat above. I believe it lives with another HFCer to this day. 1987 PRS I don't have any good photos of it (obviously) but it was a glorious, quilted flamey blue. Feather light with a perfect neck. I sold it to a "friend" who wouldn't sell it back to me. He's dead now. (Unrelated point, but I'm just saying). 2002 Baker BJ Elite Korina Screw you, @The Shark 2005 Melancon Classic Artist Played beautifully, looked beautiful, light, with a loud acoustic voice. Sold it and saw it years later for sale and I was ready to pounce on it. In the ad details, the seller mentioned having the neck shaved down! I almost cried. 1999 Gibson Firebird I Light, loud, and RED! I HAD to sell ti because the buyer offered me too much money for it! 2000 Gibson Les Paul R8 One of the best Les Pauls I've played. Screw you again, @The Shark Gene Baker "Keebler" '59 Les Paul Replica THE BEST Les Paul I ever played. You know you're flailing in a hobby when THIS is no longer floating your boat.
