Yep - location, location, location. Winters are the worst, but a whole-house humidifier really helps. The basement here stays 40%-60% year-round, so I don't fret it. Get it?!? Fret it. HAHAHAHA God I kill myself........ It's been a .......long.......... winter.

I prefer imperfections (knots, mineral streaks, spalting, etc) that add some natural character over a perfect flame or quilt. I loved that spalted Standard somebody here had done. That gave me an imperfect woody.

Yeah - if you're going to mention it in your ad, wouldn't a decent picture of the repair be in order? Minor red flag there. Otherwise it looks decent enough for the price. Even the burst is nice (not usually a big fan). If the repair is solid, it would make a great 'no-worries' gigging guitar.

Even after owning one for 35 years, I was going to ask the same question. Something didn't look quite right, but it would be nice to be able to spot it at a glance like you pros can. It would suck to be some kid buying his first LP and getting hooked by that.

I'd bet they'll be a standard feature (get it?), as Mike won't want to spend his days re-attaching headstocks. It's pretty cheap insurance. I was surprised how relocating the button on my Firebird (from the upper bout to the neck heel) made such a dramatic difference. It went from being nearly unplayable to being exceptionally comfortable.
