  1. Kevin, Oh dear God! Please, please don't ever leave out your bassist. I don't want to meet him (and I would never let him book my trip), but if laughter is the best medicine he just added 10 years to my life. I have never laughed my ass off so much as I did this weekend. I have said it many times, hell I even posted it, I am always amazed at the quality and good people I have met from that little ole band from Rockford (I think Jol, called them the little band that could), and through Hamer guitars. Steve and Jen Anderson at Anderson Guitar Gallery in Frisco, BCR Greg and Kristen from BCR Music in Leymone, Tone Junkee, Peter, Alpep from Lost Art, Ed Rechts, Mobster, Bill Rich, and the Kaman Group; Jol, Frank, Frank, Bill, Matt Smith. Say howdy to Straight Blues. Nice to meet you although we didn't hang. Same to Stike, he was working but I still can smell the pulled pork and beer from a few open houses ago. To Geoff - Good luck on the new CD. I met a lot of new people this year. Many thanks to the manufacturers, the artists, the dealers, and most of all the people that make this life worth living. Best wishes for 2006. I can't wait to see all of the custom orders.
  2. Yeah, it takes on a whole new meaning of 'Chop Shop". Costco is very good at what they do. They are number #1 in the market place. I won't even comment on Gibson. You would think Henry (Ford) was running that place.
  3. Congrats on the new sign. I think I see a four digit standard hanging on the wall looking through the right window. For those that have never been - it is the clubhouse. I remember my first time. I was by myself...and met lots of other Hamer enthusiasts. I highly recommend a weekend trip when Grumpy is playing. Chances are some HFC'rs will be there, coffee will be on. Best korina coffee on the planet!
  4. You said it Chris. Actually, you might have brought it to my attention! Thanks, Hamerica
  5. Man, was I asleep at the wheel. I really didn't keep up with this one. I can't believe that it actually sold this time for around $10,5k US. It went well over twice that amount and didn't sell before. In short, if it actually sold for that, whomever got it has a great piece of Hamer History. Hamerica
  6. Dear HHB, Very sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences to you and your family. All my best. Hamerica
  7. Big Country, Congrats and a tone report is in order. As a follow-up post, there are some things that I just won't part with and the Korina Vectors are definetely on that list. Hope you enjoy #23. I am sure she will turn out to be everything you have dreamed of. Hamerica
  8. There is "No Doubt" that the Hamer USA Korina Vee is the best out there. I have played other brands but have stayed true to the brand I love. The Brian Ball Vee - thanks to Kim Keller, Frank U, and Jol and Co. is truly amazing. I waited several years to get approval to have it done and when it was finally said and done, it was spectacular over the top. Chris, as always thanks for the compliments. However, I am going to have to ask my security team of Fung and Co. to conduct a full body search. I heard they could be bought off though - evirtutally...
  9. Standard. Still have it. HFC Standard Pricing.
  10. Cajun, Great News! Hamerica

  12. Hey Cajun Boy, Keep us posted. I hope they did what they said and just moved out of harms way. Hamerica
  13. Hmmm....Ferrari Red... Hmmm... Sustain Block...
  14. Lukes post is pretty much right on. An enlighten man will light the path for many. Thanks for a good well thought post.
  15. First, your wife is right. Second, read number #1. Your wife will always be right. American Bands, the best is a hard choice. ZZ Top was a great band but after Duplicator, I kinda lost interest. They have had a couple of hit and miss projects through the years but overall they have been solid. The Eagles are probably the best band. The sound like their records. They are tremendous in concert. I like Aerosmith. I like how they reinvented themselves. I am glad to see a sober Steven Tyler. When they are on, they are tight. The Doors were pretty good in their heyday. Steely Dan isn't mentioned. I have always thought they were a great band - no matter who the cast of players are. (They seemed to have worked with the best, expect Rick Nielsen - there is a joke there). My favorite band - Cheap Trick. No surprises here.
  16. Beligan, Excellent choice and happy bithday. Looking forward to hearing the Tone Report.
  17. Hamer USA knows my position on this one. I'll take two - one in Cherry Mahogany and the other in Korina. Please.
  18. I'll take at least 2 XXL's. I like the big bold look.
  19. Bluehugh2, #008 other than the changes really ought to be a nice score. Congrats. I think you might have come up with a steal for what you paid. I am still looking for #009 Korina Vector from the limited run. Looking forward to your Tone report. Best wishes, Hamerica
  20. Saw the show in Ft Forth with some friends and my oldest. He wanted to go front row to see Def Lep while I headed for the cool shade of the bleachers at 87 degrees. Great lineup. Def Lep was good but the sound guy made Bryan Adams and Co just phenoms!!!
  21. yeah.... and she was actually at her Grandmother's funeral in Ohio when she heard that her husband was in the ICU from getting hit. I'd say she's had better weeks. To TA and his family. I wish you a quick recovery and the best to you and your family. I can't image.
  22. Lou, Congrats. A very nice piece. This will give everyone wood for a few months.
  23. Although I like the CT report, the Rick banter, what I am amazed at is the number of vintage pieces Kilroy has been able to establish from members of this board. That is either a testament to the type of guy he is and or a testament to the members of this board. Overall a very good post. Hamerica sends...
  24. Hell Yeah!!! Another convert! In the beginning, I was kinda skeptical. I couldn't figure out what the fuss was. Single P90? Tone? A "private demonstration" with a Gibson Ranger GA20T amp (those are the crappiest amps ever. Don't buy them, call me and I will remove said amp out of your area.) and I was hooked. I love Juniors and the Korina stuff kills. There have been several here that has tried to spread the good gospel of the junior. They are not for the meek. I think Jol called them "little rock and roll machines" or something to that affect. All I know is I have mine and they are cool as hell. Congrats and enjoy.
