  1. Congrats to all that made it in. "For the dude who wanted the doubleneck Scepter in "Wonderbread White with Primary Color Polka-dots", and the many faces of Emmett Kelley, Jr. inlayed in the fretboard...uh, sorry. Not happening!" Damn and i was SOOOO looking forward to that one! Hamerica

  7. this ^^^^^ That is the CLASSIC Stadium logo. Guaranteed you will never mistake THAT for a PRS on stage! John Hurtt, very nice Cali - GLWS.
  8. Without getting into the whole shelf thing, I have to agree with Hamerhead, the building process was refined. The consistency from a quality standpoint was improved. That being said, the SB77 Reissues are pretty awesome. I have had several Sunbursts and a couple of Monaco Elites. I don't think there is a clear outright winner here. I love them both. If I was a buyer and it was a vintage Sunburst versus a Monaco Elite for about the same money? Then, my preference would be the Sunburst, I'm not sure what that says about me. It's like comparing a 1966 Ford Mustang to a 2014 Mustang, the 2014 will kick the 1966 Mustangs butt all day long and twice on Sunday but there is something about the Vintage thing. Maybe I am just getting old? Hamerica
  9. Pretty much sums it up right there and as oldskoolrulz stated " I knew it was meant to be when I discovered the seller only lived 45 minutes from me!" Call me "oldskool" however, I believe in that Karma or whatever you want to call it. Glad to see the seller move them to someone in the family and good luck to the new curator. Tone Report Please! 10. I was thinking the same thing. Hamerica
  11. That is about as rare as finding a Watson for Sale….wait a minute. The world must be coming to an end. Someone used to post "We are all doomed" Hamerica
  12. I pretty much like anything that Robin does. Disturber hit it on the head. Definitely not badlands. Hamerica
  13. Ted, sorry to hear about this. As a teenager my families house was broken into. There is nothing worse than the lose of sense of security. The "local police" will not catch them without help and sometimes a good hard well placed kick in the ass. I should know my Dad was in law enforcement at the time and he put the pieces together, gave it to the local police department and because of that they were caught. Unfortunately what was stolen was long gone. My uncles house was broken into twice in another state in another major metropolitan city. They "walked in" on the day time burglary with everything left on the bed wrapped up in sheets. They made another attempt less than a week and were caught red handed going out the back door. In both cases, it was people that lived in the neighborhood less than two blocks. "Ted, looks like you were being targeted, plus, they know when you're home and when not, so they might live near..." - Blue Red White I hope you find them and your property. I also hope you and your family regain your peace of mind and security. best wishes, Hamerica
  14. the conciquences for me would out weigh anything I could do for Her. So, In that reagrd, I will have to respectfully pass on a generous opertunity LOL Jay must be considering a new career opportunity as a politician.
  15. Maybe the new ownership of FMIC will read this thread and see that weekend Hamer custom orders are just what the doctor ordered.
  16. None delivered! That's FACT. "Church" - Skinny Pete
  17. Thanks for the post. It was great! The downside, fame quickly goes to those authors heads. public speaking engagements, start charging appearance fees, promote their marketing tie-ins (you should try Serial Steve's Signature Guitar Strings) and the next thing you know, they don't remember you. Seriously I hope for continued success for the book and both authors. Hamerica
  18. Anathemata, Enjoyed the radio interview, I would also suggest you make this a separate topic post. Best wishes, Hamerica
  19. http://www.cheaptrick.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=10145 Posted this on the Cheap trick website as well hopefully to let the CT fans know it is out there. Hamerica
  20. Hamer Book - nothing less than spectacular, congrats to Steve and Joe! Funny it reminds me of PLAYBOY. I bought it for the "articles" - yeah sure. The photographs of the "girls" are beautiful I am very impressed with the "history" or story of Hamer. The players both inside the company and on stage, all of it is like looking at a time capsule from the early 70's. Fortunate enough to meet a few of the characters in this play. If you haven't ordered the book - Do so now! Hamerica
  21. Bruce 919 had some great custom orders made. These are just a couple of examples. Hamerica
