What, no picture of the finished project? Are we to assume it looks similar to serial's 8-string?
If so, I hope you straightened the ball-ends this time!
I'm kidding! Nice work Greg.
I don't know about the VIP lounge but you'll get access to the "Pam's Groupies Tour Bus" that's for sure!
All Right!!!!!
Seriously though; Rockford's about as close as CC has gotten to the east coast since I've known about you. It would be difficult to make that trip and then do the HFC8 so soon afterward. HMMM ..;.. I'm thinkin' about it....
Left a plastic 5 gallon gas container where the sun was beating on it. I pulled the cap before I opened the little vent and thbbbbbt! Gas in the eyes. Hurt like a mofo. Just then the electrical inspector shows up to check my handiwork and I'm in the back yard screaming profanities with a hose blasting my face. Not my finest moment....
I'd say if it's a one-off piece, keep it unless it's totally shot. I'm considering a refin on my Cruisebass 5 too. I may have that place that paints the GMP guitars do mine over in a custom finish. Then mine will be a one-of-a-kind. Sort of...
Due to some (improving) shoulder trouble my heavy CruiseBass5 has been relegated to second for now. My main axes are a Carvin B4 Bolt-neck bass (7-1/2lbs) and my featherweight Hamer B12L for the crunchy stuff.
I've had my '79 Sunburst since 1982. That's the longest of any electric I have. My first guitar (a small-bodied Suzuki acoustic) was bought for me by my Dad in 1972. It's in my son's room now.
