  1. '79 Sunburst - I still have it.
  2. It's essentially a Sound City head. That price is a joke.
  3. Thoughts are with you and all affected. Take care bro'.
  4. I'd say between $700 and $900.
  5. I like it - it's simple.
  6. What, no picture of the finished project? Are we to assume it looks similar to serial's 8-string? If so, I hope you straightened the ball-ends this time! I'm kidding! Nice work Greg.
  7. I guess it's called a Superglide because "PHANTAWATSOMONAVECTARD" wouldn't fit on the headstock. That's a beauty! I'm loving korina more every day.
  8. I don't know about the VIP lounge but you'll get access to the "Pam's Groupies Tour Bus" that's for sure! All Right!!!!! Seriously though; Rockford's about as close as CC has gotten to the east coast since I've known about you. It would be difficult to make that trip and then do the HFC8 so soon afterward. HMMM ..;.. I'm thinkin' about it....
  9. Left a plastic 5 gallon gas container where the sun was beating on it. I pulled the cap before I opened the little vent and thbbbbbt! Gas in the eyes. Hurt like a mofo. Just then the electrical inspector shows up to check my handiwork and I'm in the back yard screaming profanities with a hose blasting my face. Not my finest moment....
  10. OK dammit! Bon Jovi, Rick Springfield and the Bay City Rollers. There - I said it. And I'm not ashamed!
  11. The Vapors Sam Cooke Ray Charles (the old blues stuff) 80's metal and I have a Europe CD I listen to once in a while. So sue me...
  12. I'd say if it's a one-off piece, keep it unless it's totally shot. I'm considering a refin on my Cruisebass 5 too. I may have that place that paints the GMP guitars do mine over in a custom finish. Then mine will be a one-of-a-kind. Sort of...
  13. Due to some (improving) shoulder trouble my heavy CruiseBass5 has been relegated to second for now. My main axes are a Carvin B4 Bolt-neck bass (7-1/2lbs) and my featherweight Hamer B12L for the crunchy stuff.
  14. I like it the way it is now. I got tired of ads getting buried and having to bump them all the friggin' time. Just relax - you'll get used to it.
  15. We're not whining! That's 1 transgression on your permanent record, missy!
  16. Uhhh.......testing........ one........two..... edited: YES! it works - now, how can I get my previous 867 posts added? I'm KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. That neck is now hanging on the wall at the Hamer factory. Dunno what happened to the body...
  18. I've had my '79 Sunburst since 1982. That's the longest of any electric I have. My first guitar (a small-bodied Suzuki acoustic) was bought for me by my Dad in 1972. It's in my son's room now.
