Why? This isn't a bench report, a lesson or an audio guide. ... and that he is a funny MFer. there's no confusion about that. : )

I don't know what you are talking about...or as y'all say it: eh-bewt.

Normally, I would agree with you, but considering zorrow, BlueRedWhite and I are Kweebeckers... And they're not a pussy bunch either... I can tell... Hey Hosers, all the best to you !

Maybe Mitch would do better if he could link his white pick guard and Flipper... I mean Christina Ricci. -

Silly rabbit, "white" is for kids! -
You are probably right about the sound, but I was writing 'bout the feel of the neck. Gabe Did they sand the finish on the maple necks at the factory? Blue's neck is defintely smoother than the neck of The Black.

The pickguard reminds me of some kind of pseudo sixties design inspired by George Barris. Hate the pup covers. Like the body shape and carved top. No fret markers. Plenty of frets. Ebony fretboard? Not bad. Looks like 24 frets - cool. Looks like the love child of an SG and a Phantom.

I have a guitar that needs a case...hmmm. Blue is a really pretty shade. When the light is right you can see the grain underneath. The Black is as black can be. I have a MannMade trem on sale here, I had purchased it for a project I was working on. That was on hold because of the opportunity to buy Blue. Now I'm tempted to swap the Wilky out for the MannMade. Thoughts?

Black and Blue. Black on the left sports an ABM trem and hot rails pup thanks to BCR Greg. Blue is all stock for now - except the trem arm. I'll get some better pics done tomorrow AM. Until then...

Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar get dissed by VH...
BubbaVO replied to MrGuitarguy's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Something else that was lacking on the "reunion" tour: enough people who refused to buy tickets, thereby letting the VH brothers know that this type of bullshit isn't acceptable. But when the sheep can't resist filling arenas because DLR is back on the mic ("normally I wouldn't go but I really wanted my kids to see this" blah blah blah) is it any wonder that these assholes think they can continue to be asshats and get away with it? True dat. Remember VH III and Gary Cherone? -

Doubtful. Sure, cutting Mike's performances out of the video game versions will keep him from getting those residuals, but wasn't all of the songwriting during the Roth era (and the Hagar era as well) credited to all four members? I'd like to see how EVH plans to prevent Michael Anthony from collecting on long-published work credited in part to him. You're right. He can't cut him out of everything on his own. In the words of the Texas Tornados - "a little bit is better than nada" And I'm sure those little bits add up. I'm really curious to see exacty what rights did Mikey relinquish when he signed on to do the 2004 tour. http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=53466 (Listening to Atomic Punk as I type - what a great band - such a shame) -

Eddie may be a guitar genius, but he sure comes across as vindictive and petty. Or maybe he is a business genius, too? -

The more I drink, the more I can say I agree... By the way, that guitar is awesome.

She's definitely more masculine: more facial hair, less make up, and outweighs the guy by 2 stone.

That's right. Not just Axl, he can cover Robert Plant, Steve Tyler, Mickey Thomas, and probably Freddie Mercury. If you examine the actual vocal qualities of Plant and Tyler cutting through the mix and going for the high notes, they don't have the most pleasant vocal qualities either. Whether he's to your taste or not, a rock vocalist with Lambert's range, control, and power doesn't come along too often. I count maybe 8 in the last 40 years (i.e., Plant, Tyler, Paul Rodgers, Mickey Thomas, Axl Rose, Bobby Kimball of Toto, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, and Freddie Mercury). Lambert could be one of them. For a vocal interpreter, I like Danny Gokey and Kris Allen much better. Gokey can rock out at least as well as Huey Lewis but with more range. Kris is an excellent singer when in his zone and could be an excellent arranger/producer. But if you want somebody to rock out in front of a band, it would be Adam. Edited to add: Isn't Adam Lambert what GnR fans have been waiting for--an Axl Rose who shows up on time, sober? He's a cross between one of the backstreet boys and Axl Rose - all the vocal ability in a saccarine sweet innocuous non-threatening safe little package. Sorry Johnny but comparing him to Axl, Plant or Tyler is blasephemous. Thomas, Kimball and Graham maybe more appropriate.

Feel free to fill in the blank. I'll start with... Ridiculous.
