I love it but the seller's effort leaves something to be desired.

One photo and this in depth description:

"Description

Right at 9 and a half pounds"

Gee, thanks.

lol - literally not there when I posted.
Not that it matters. The pix are not representative of a $3,000 ask.

On C*****0’s website they seem to have one listed for a little bit of this price - not sure if new or used, but they are also running some sort of movign sale as of now withi in store lower prices.

I like the double cream humbucker on this one better but not the bashed in "dented" lower jack area 😢  or maybe the photo is exaggerated?

The man took $2,800 of my money in August 2024.  I've not received one photo or any updates since.  When I called him out, he ghosted me.  I'll never see the guitar or my money.  He said I could have store credit, but at Suggested Retail.  Fuck him.

I did a little research and it seems it takes this guy forever to get a guitar in the hands of those who have paid for it.

Sorry to hear. Seems to be his m.o.

Ask me anything. I can probably answer it from the pix.

I responded to a post on TGP where several people were complaining that he had taken their deposits (thousands, not hundreds of dollars), and then stopped returning emails and calls before completely blocking communication.  I had two friends at the time who were out money to him and knew of a third, and simply posted a warning to check things out first.  He sent me a completely unhinged rant via TGP messages threatening to sue me into oblivion and name-dropping some NJ attorney “who has never lost a case”.  I reported the threat to TGP and blocked him, and will not take down a 100% truthful comment.

The close friend of mine finally got his after seeing the guy selling completed guitars on his website and raising hell/consulting an attorney.  He said it was something he didn’t want as soon as he got it because the whole experience had completely tainted the thing.

The one in the PSA is in a shop not affiliated with *******. It's a brick and mortar store and the guitar came in used. It's where I bought my Les Paul Custom / SG while in FL (We stayed, by the vi). He's a good guy. I can vouch for him.

Well, THERE'S a blast from the past!

Fortunately, I never had any business dealings with that clown, but plenty of folks here (and on TGP) sure did.  I wish I could remember a particular one-liner you used as a classic smack-down to one of that guy's fanbois...it was a certifiable entry in the Kiz Hall of Fame!

I could never own a guitar that I knew that was used to scam [STEAL] someone's money from them. Bad vibes every time I looked at it much less played it. Bad vibes in spades with a guitar like that.

I had a 7mm Browning rifle that was like that for me. I had to sell it finally. Made me feel bad to keep it. Made me feel bad to sell it.

?? So do I!

Your brother sure gave Revelator Fabricator, Eric, a severe beat down.

...and when I say "fabricator" I'm calling him a habitual liar, not someone who fabricates guitar bodies and necks, because we know now that he never did.
This guy was diabolical. Seriously. Serial killer-level lies and lack of accountability.

...and for those who don't know, Serial's friend "who sent him his '59 Strat to have refinned" was me.

I told this guitar story here quite some time ago. Had a new Fender Telecaster ordered from a guitar store and after some delays it finally showed up. It was finished white but there was some yellow staining on it, from what I do not know but it came that way from Fender so...........  I asked for a refund as I found another Tele at another store. The owner assured me he could get me another within a week and he would knock a little off the price as well, so I said OK. He said he had an old 50's gold top Gibson Les Paul that just came in and I could use that till my guitar came in. Well, a week and some days went by and still no Tele so I said I want me money back and he said hey just keep that old used Gibson if you want it and we will call it square, so I said good, sounds fair to me. Sometime later he asked could I return the guitar and he would refund all my money, I wanted to keep it as it played and sounded great, this guitar had P-90 pickups BTW. A kid brought that guitar in apparently and sold it to the store for a cash, it was his father's guitar that he had taken and sold. I reluctantly agreed to bring it back; I loved that guitar and wished I could have kept it and still think about it today but.................you can finish the rest of the story.

Those two knobs are way too close together, just like on Hamer's Juniors.
On any other guitar with just 2 knobs (like an actual Les Paul Junior), the knobs are spread apart more.

This builder took a page out of Hamer's book and just deleted the third knob from the CNC program.
The look is distracting from the rest of the guitar which is beautiful.

Lazy.

Is there backstory for why HFC censors the name of the builder?

Because we don't give airtime to people who have been confirmed as scamming any of our members.

People can go other places for that.

They don't ship.

It's a 2.5 hour, 5 there and back drive.

I asked for Pictures of dents dings finish issues. I see headstock checking.

May drive Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up.
