Hmm, didn't the very early Hamers have original PAFs in them? That my justify some of the price.

A pair of real PAFs would bring more than the asking price. From reading THE BOOK, I think the PAF period was extremely early and extremely brief.

This one has the stock DiMarzios

I'm betting, with the proof of provenance, it will sell for the asking price.

I do find the "Hammer" reference quite funny.

Only the first few/earliest 4-digits.  By the time the Sunbursts were in production, those were long gone, despite decades of dealer and internet rumors and misinformation!  It's always possible that somebody put a set of real PAFs into their Hamer after the fact, but...WHY?

;)

That actually seems like a reasonable price. Just $1K more than the perennially for sale Whitford Eclipse.

ATB are about 20 minutes from me - I might go and have a sniff around it...

I would if I were 20 minutes away...
