Stike Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 As a South Carolina state trooper once told me..."Son, dontcha know that haste makes waste?" What do those fuckers know, puttin' mustard in their BBQ an' shit?
gfc55 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 George: There's a Blue B-12'ver with your name all over it... (well, actually it says "Not Steve" on it, but you get the point, right?! ) Wow, I love the look of that bass, and since I'm NOT Steve, the name on the headstock still works. Fun, Fun, Fun...

Can't you bring something in TV for me?! I'm bringing my TV Special. It's been at my brother's house for at least 5 years, and it will be fun to play it again.
JohnnyThunders Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Do you guys check or carry on you guitars? Will they fit in the overhead? Depends on jet, right? So how do you know?

serial Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 If Stike wants to jump in on WildFlower, the more the merrier. Damn, this should be a blast.I had the pleasure of backing Poe on IWYTWM before. He's rather handy with a mic on that one.

I don't tink we'll have the room for 3 guitarists on a song so Stike, if you want to play on Wild Flower please work it out with Serial and/or Kiz.I'll add Poe as singer for IWTYWM if that's cool with everybody.

WHAT!?!?!?!? I don't think I can work under these conditions! I'll be singing Live With Me, BTW, and will need a kickass lead player...I'm assuming that's you, right Dave? Carmie is ALWAYS part of my backup band, and along with George, we're a smooth mean rhythm machine. If the stage is small, Carmie and I will be delighted to do the cheek-to-cheek thing. I've also got a cool little 3 chord rocker called I Hate My Job that I'd like to play while I'm up there. As you might imagine, it's a sing-along. I'll teach it to you now: A-D-G, and the chorus goes, "I Hate My Job, I Hate My Job, I Hate My Job, I Hate My Jo-ya-yob!!!" Never fails to get a rise out of the audience. Oh, and of course I'll need a kickass lead player for this one too. Hmmm, perhaps I'll learn how to play guitar someday. Can't wait to see y'all!
Mad Man Mike Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 It looks like the little miss and myself will be able to attend the Jam. We will be drivning from Germentown were my nephew is getting married. It appers on the map that it will only take about 1/2 hour or so to get to Onley. That Hotel that you are talking about will there be enought of rooms for everyone. If there is room I will be making my reservations this Thrusday after the time that you said about making reservations for that day. I do not know that area that well so when I get to Onley From Germentown can you help me from that point on. Can you e-mail me with a telephone number that when I get to Onley you could direct me from that point on.Like I have said before this is my first Jam Session so are all of you guys going to help me thought this. I know that you guys are polished performers and all. I will be giving you the songs I know in another post tomorrow. Thanks in advance for helping me.

So Live With Me, Bruce-Vox, Carmie-Guitar, George-Bass, Me-Guitar?I play pretty damn good sitting down, but sloppy and slung low standing up.The stage is *very* small, especially when I'm on it.I Hate My Job? Absolutely!
