Forgive the less than open-arm reception, but hell, even a post saying "I'm selling these other branded guitars to fund a Hamer purchase" would make more sense. I suppose that you are one who subscribed/s to the theory that if you ask a thousand girls for a blowjob, one might say yes, making it all worthwhile? A little foreplay before you ram it in, huh? Like, an introduction maybe? That usually speaks volumes. I suppose you hit other guitar-related boards as well. Then again, there aren't many of those out there...
