BubbaVO Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 If you can get over the label of a '59 burst, take a look at mine. (Shameless, I admit). Mine is very much mostly red/orange finish. The yellow center is very much understated. Just pointing it out as an option.
alpep Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I have one on my website check it out thanksal
BubbaVO Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I have one on my website check it out thanksalThose redwoods are sweet. The binding looks sharp.
zorrow Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 The picture of the blue one doesn't load here -- and I do want to look at her! I can't play a Monaco, but they look soooooo sweet!
blitzcruise Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 It's not a perfect match, but it's blue.http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-Studio-USA-Guita...1QQcmdZViewItem
sw686blue Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 Yeah, I saw that one but I'm holding out for one that is bound and crowned. The cherry on the cake will be a bound headstock too. Thanks for keeping your eyes open for me!
zorrow Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I still wanna see the blue one on LostArtVintage! These are (suposedly) the pictures: Does anyone here see them? I don't!

But I'm still looking for a vintage checkerboard special (white or graphics if possible). Is there anyone who can help?
cmatthes Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Indigo is my favorite Hamer finish...this might help with the compression/lightening:
moozak Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Someone posted a Studio Redwood on eBay today: http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-USA-Studio-Custo...75355QQihZ016QQ i've got one of these myself... and it has pretty much become my fav guitar. plus, i think the one i have has a fantastic top on it as well... (just gotta show it off a bit... sorry)
zorrow Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Just saw the pictures of the blue Monaco on the other thread and man, I can easily visualize Nick playing that babe. Sorry now about saying this, but none of my Vectors would compete with that beauty when talking about... err... beauty! A shame I cannot reach the higher frets on those, because I think she's just perfect.
