zorrow Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I think this guitar won't be very pricey at the end: Hamer Vector Korina 1997 DISCLAIMER: I'm not related to the seller in any way -- and I'm not bidding, as I am concluding a deal on another guitar I really want. PS: Some day I'll get a Korina Vector though.
cornjulio Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I like the V's. Why would someone take out the pick ups with a high end guitar like this is beyond me...Unless of course he wanted a different sound which makes me wonder why buy this guitar in the first place...

Early Hamers (Sunburst and Vector) I've left alone. Have left (or would if I had them) Phat Cats, Seth Lovers, Ultimates, and the Talledaga pickups as is. But any of the 59's get swapped out; there are much better pickups for that sound (or whatever you want).

formula73 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Well, it's about 2 hrs away from me...pickup only...hmmmm.

I guess I'm too much into vintage stuff these days Maybe I get myself an axe in the future to experiment...

formula73 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 lol thanks for the idiot check. I need those from time to time. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one...
serial Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 lol thanks for the idiot check. I need those from time to time. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one...I didn't see that either. What I DID see was "local pickup only" and thought "this guy's killing himself on this one!"

When I first saw the auction, I ignored it completely when I saw it was a pickup, but it looks like the seller wised up and decided he was willing to ship it.-Austin
formula73 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Well, there go my hopes of a good deal...
LordOfTheThighs Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I really like the Duncan '59s in my Vector. I don't have any plans to change them either. But most all my other guitars, I've pulled the originals out, and hung something else in.
