Travis Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 For those of you who don't know, I am a huge Superman fan. One look at my avatar will clue you in a little bit. Imagine my surprise and joy when I logged on this morning and saw that I had a Superman shield under my name as a "veteran HFCer." Thanks to whomever did that. You're the tits.
jerseydrew Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I thought it was cool too. Can one of the mods explain them. Some say "veteran", some say "inner circle". What's the deal?
Steve Haynie Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 We are all Supermen now. How can you stand out as a Super Superman?BTMN needs his own special symbol.
marcnorth Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I thought it was cool too. Can one of the mods explain them. Some say "veteran", some say "inner circle". What's the deal?Veteran is over 1000 posts, inner circle is over 400 posts, and it looks like you have the emblem if you are a supporter. At least that's how it appears to me anyway. I think it's cool too.
Thundernotes Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 It wasn't me - that's all I know for sure!
BTMN Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Admins seem to get the Elvis TCB button. Thanks for the thought of having my own but I get singled out enough. I like ole Superduperman just as well. Always was a DC man anyway. Marvel. Edited to add: OH WAIT!!! These are the coolest.... Just spotted that under Elduave's name. NICE!!!!
ceeb Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 just checking what I gots.edit: Cool, I like being inner circle, and it looks like I can keep that status for about another 5 years.
kizanski Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Yes..."S" is for "Supporter." When I was thinking of logos with an S in them, and being a Superman fan myself, it was the first thing that came to mind. The logo for the "Authorized Hamer Dealer" was something that I nipped from the Hamer site. I didn't think they'd mind...lol. You'll also notice that the Dealers are in their own group. This was meant to give them a mark of distinction - in a positive way, not as a "scarlet letter" (which would be "S" again, wouldn't it?).Taking Care of Bidness in a Flash: What we Mods will be aiming to do.Of course these can and probably will change from time to time.
Travis Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 Is there any way to keep mine constant? PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEE!!!!!!!!
phoenix Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The logo for the "Authorized Hamer Dealer" was something that I nipped from the Hamer site. I didn't think they'd mind...lol. I think it's the photo of Improv#1. #'s 2 and up look different.
kizanski Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Hmmmm.........I don't see any new Hamers on your site. Are you still carrying the line?

anotherfreak2 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 "I don't see any new Hamers on your site. Are you still carrying the line?"I wish I could, Dave's is carrying them and he's pretty close to me. I tried, I just didn't have the customers for it, and I couldn't really afford them anymore.
