RacerX Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Hi Gang, Time for me to let a few go. First up 1985 Hamer Miller Music. 6 inline headstock with "Norm" trussrod cover (how fitting!). These are kinda hard to find and this one plays great. Probably one of my best sounding Hamers, rings like a bell and is very well ballanced on a strap or leg. There are a few lacquer checks on the top and a good bit on the back and neck. NO breaks or repairs, no problems or issues. Ships in non-original but sturdy case. $OLD! shipped in Cont. US. Here's a few quick Pix, these where taken a year ago in the shop...everything in the background is gone, this is My guitar not the stores. Thanks! Mark.
BCR Greg Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 How much for the TV Special and the 79 Les Paul Sunburst in the background?

serial Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 How much for the TV Special in the background? The Miller guitars are really quite good-I've had a few and still have one and one of the impossible-to-find Miller Genuine Draft gits. DEFINITELY gigging guitars-always get a reaction.

cmatthes Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 How much for the Heineken Neon in the background?Actually, a +1 that those Millers are actually solid, great playing guitars. The guitarist in a former band I was in gigged with his on a regular basis. The necks are a lot like Sunburst/Special necks.
DavidE Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 "The necks are a lot like Sunburst/Special necks."So on the skinny side? Not for me then.
serial Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 "The necks are a lot like Sunburst/Special necks."So on the skinny side? Not for me then.Mine is like a later Sunburst-slim from top to bottom, but wider across the fingerboard-not pencil like as on most earlier 80s S/Bs and Specials.
cornjulio Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I don't know where the idea came from originally to have Hamer make Miller guitars but it's just crazy! I've never played one...I keep thinking of this sponge bob double neck thing that I've seen on HFC (if I remember this correctly). These guitars seem to me like the opposite of a PRS. I like crazy guitars!!!!

I like crazy guitars!!!! No one should confuse these with the Dean Budweiser or Busch guitars. Those are absolute POSs for the most part-the Hamers are the same quality, performance as a Sunburst.
