The times are hurtin' for a lot of folks, here's hoping you and yours turn it around quick! Unfortunately I can't use/afford anything you'll be putting up. I just wish I hadn't sold my T-51. What a bunch of crap, they laid off about 15% today with no warning.My father gave me a great piece of advice in the early 80s - when management tells everyone how great the company is doing when the economy is on the skids, start mailing out your resume immediately.I'm very sorry for you, your wife, and anyone else that's been affected by this massive clusterfuck. My wife's taking it extremely hard. 6.5 years of busting her butt there and they laid off the older employees and kept the cheaper, young ones. Depending on the size of the company and applicable Federal and state laws, mass layoffs without notice may be prohibited. Usually, 50+ people is the cutoff defining a mass layoff, and 15% of 800 is 120 people.At least that's been the case with every company I've worked for, but I have always worked for large or very large industrial companies.Best of luck with the age discrimination lawsuit. A good settlement achieved relatively quickly would certainly help your situation. A protracted court battle could last years.

Someone should grab this NOW!FWIW, I talked to a good friend today. His wife worked for Citibank for 14 years. They laid off all 100 workers last week. Gotta hope karma works for those jerks.... I didn't think it would last long, it's like the hottest amp on the planet right now.I got more stuff to move soon. I think we're both still in shock. I have been using a Vox Tonelab LE pedal board, plus the Visual Sound One-spot for powering other pedals. The One-spot works great, plenty of power for at least 12 pedals. It also comes with connectors for all kinds of pedals. Highly recommended and takes up no space.
