Other than the chrome hardware EVERYTHING you see was an upcharge. They are as follows: Ultimate Flame top - Which means $400 upcharge for a stock top and then $400 more for a 4A Ultimate top (Thanks Hamer) $800 total before discount. Ebony Fret Board Dunlop 6100 fret wire Boomer Inlays Bound neck "and" headstock Schaller Locking Tuners EMG 81 bridge and 60 neck with battery compartment installed in back Custom wiring - Single volume, single tone controls and input jack on the inside crotch/leg of body (where it belong with a maple top) "NO" non-skid rubber pad on body $2,375 FIRM. If a guitar comes with dots and you want Traps they upcharge you to go to Victorys and then upcharge from Victorys to Trap. On this it was an upcharge to go to a maple cap and then another for the Ultimate. My dealer was cool and worked me out a fair upcharge (thanks Scott).I know it may be a bit pricey, but this is a true one off custom Hamer and the Punisher and this guitar have consecutive serial numbers.

Knowing how pristine you keep your guitars, and all of the upcharges and custom features of this guitar, I think you have priced it *very* fairly. Actually, I think that $2375 for this is a steal.One question...How thick is the maple cap?

My "guess" is that its your normal "Standard Custom" thickness, but that is only a guess. This guitar is "pristine". It's been played, but taken care of. Shows virtually zero signs of wear and could probably pass as new.

I agree with Poe, at the price you are offering it for, it is a steal. IIRC, I was told the top is the same as a Standard Custom, about 1/8 inch thick.

Actually, it's a $300 upcharge to go straight from dots to Crowns.It's $150 to go from Crowns to Victories and $100 from Victories to Crowns.I recall seeing the "in progress" shots - Cool guitar - that's REALLY cheap!

serial Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 I'm not a fan of EMGs in the slightest, but that guitar looks too damned cool-even in its raw state (which is a beautiful pic in itself). I'm not in "buy" mode, or I'd be tempted-Hamer makes incredible Vees. A great custom at a great price.
