polara Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 SO yeah, I've been off the radar lately... was SLAMMED as my old employer was going under the waves for good, then job hunting and freelancing, and the band was recording and I was a bit bummed over the place I'd put so much into going bankrupt over idiotic decisions I had warned of ages ago.But I start a good new job next week and was considering getting a new guit-fiddle. Ideally a white Artist with P90s. HA! I used to have one.Realistically a P90 Special, but I don't dig diaperburst. A beat-to-hell TV yellow would be cool. This'd be for playing out so I get nervous playing pretty guitars.I have a black 1997 Guild Bluesbird I don't play much 'cos I'm not really a humbucker guy. Very good shape, OHSC. It does have a long but shallow dent where it was dropped, on the back edge of the lower body, and some little dings but the top's about perfect. So there's trade bait for something fancy like a Junior. Yeah, a Junior'd be nice.Also have a 1985 "E" series Strat, made in Japan, a '68 reissue all original in OHSC. This is a really nice guitar actually but maybe we can trade some stuff.Anyway, creative offers and trades are welcome... maybe a Bluesbird for an Artist, or the Strat for a dinged up Special or whatever... non-Hamers are welcome too!Thanks...Rick

As for me... well, I dig white guitars and P90s. Johnnythunders would be proud. I've played Specials, Artists and Studios for several years and being in a band for a year Hamerless was WEIRD!Off topic, that thing in the background is one of the best gear finds ever. It's a functioning 1937 Philco radio I fished out of a dumpster. A ton o' glowing glass and nostalgia!
