BCR Greg Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 So this customer sends me this, previously repaired TWICE by a guy that obviously doesn't have a grasp of physics. Carbon fiber chips in SIDEWAYS!?!?!?!?! No WONDER it broke again and again...... More soon....
BubbaVO Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I just found this pic on the camera.....I highlighted the three break lines in red so that you can better understand the size and shape of the splines... Ahhh...Master Greg, that explains why that hunk of wood you put in really does brace the neck/headstock/string tension. Learn something every day.
morningstar Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 MoreMore We're still not satisfied.More bench smut!morningstar
BCR Greg Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Well, what do we have here? That outta be cool! First, we have to hide the tailpiece studs. I tap them in a little bit and cut creme pickguard material to fit the depressions(after running a new string ground)..... And then the tuners go on..... Wait for it................................
BubbaVO Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing you take broken pieces of wood and return them into great musical instruments. Good work outta ya.
