Armitage Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I've never seen a long one in cream, though I have cut most of my switches down to take the regular sized ones. (they just look odd to me).
BTMN Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Shark, that is freakin' Kicking! YUMMY!!! With Robin about 20 miles from me, it would do us Floridians proud to see one of the four here in FLA! I've done my part by getting my version of a "Zandard", my '01 Trans Yellow Standard and my Mighty Hamer Daytona Mite, you should too.
The Shark Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Shark, that is freakin' Kicking! YUMMY!!! With Robin about 20 miles from me, it would do us Floridians proud to see one of the four here in FLA! I've done my part by getting my version of a "Zandard", my '01 Trans Yellow Standard and my Mighty Hamer Daytona Mite, you should too. I'm working on it. Got a few things to sell locally before I can get it. I really can't believe it wasn't the first guitar to go. The blonde Studio is just fabulous. If it was painted flat black, it would be a great guitar. Thanks, Bubs. I get to play her with the band Thursday night. In the words of my fourteen year old son; it's BEAST!
bubs_42 Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 I'll work on more pictures tonight of the nick in the binding near the switch. Its a Zandard what more do you want...
bubs_42 Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Another Storm moving in to Sunlight to be had. I'll try tomorrow but its been raining for like 3 weeks.
dobieboy Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Bump. This guitar keeps crying out: "I Want You to Want Me."
bubs_42 Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 BUMP. Nibble Nibble, Nibble. If anyone has questions PM me. I'm going to go take a coupld shot in this awsome weather we are having.
dobieboy Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 This must be an incredible guitar, I have a Korina STD and a '95 reissue Standard Custom, I'm sure they would get along great with each other.
ajoso Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Dumb question: what is a "Zandard?" How is it different from a Standard?
eightyfour Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 A Zandard is made with Zebrawood, otherwise the same thing.
BTMN Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 NOT!! http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.p...&hl=ZANDARD

cmatthes Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 This is one of the coolest Standards I've played.EVER.Still shocked that it hasn't been snagged yet.
Disturber Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 This is one of the coolest Standards I've played.EVER.Still shocked that it hasn't been snagged yet. I would seriously have considered it, if I was in the US. Don't want the hazzle of shipping something overseas right now. To much going on with moving to a new house etc.
