BruceM Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Yesterday was a day of much-needed rest after my Rockford road trip followed by one of the best Mpls HFC jams yet. It was kind of like having back-to-back weekends, and I'm not certain I've recoverd yet. Here's a few photos, and I'll add a few more... After my spirited performance on 8-string bass during the Joe Walsh medley which opened the party, this party was officially declared a posing contest. I LOVE GREEN! I think we have a winner already. More cowbell! Thanks for the new cowbell, Pam! This guy's on a roll!
BruceM Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 Here's a few more... Eric in action None greener Once, Twice, Three times a lady She could be the first runner-up, folks! Did I say "More COWBELL?!!" Our fearless leader needs work on that kneebend!
MCChris Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!More! More! More!
BruceM Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 MORE MORE MORE! Robb strikes the classic 4-3-2-1 Club "Bulletin Board" pose. Joe demonstrates his golden pipes. Blue & Green look really good together. Sid's got a few moves. Girl groups rule!
hikarateboy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Closer to a contender in the pose contest but I still need more knee bend.
BruceM Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 OK, OK, OK...she's got some moves. OK, OK, OK...so does she. Get Back, girls... My latest T-51. I love orange. Yet another classic pose by our winner.
BruceM Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 And finally, the dance contest...I love the spontaneous dancing that breaks out at these parties. We're strange. Lots of big hair at this party. More big hair My favorite party moment. When we broke into the punk rock version of Tammy's "Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad," the crowd filled the dance floor in a very surreal moment.

BadgerDave Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The photos prove it - I am in desperate need of remedial posing classes!Nevertheless, I had WAY more fun than my gawky, pensive posture would indicate. Jams at the 4321 Club are mandatory - bus, train, car, whatever it takes, make it a priority. Thanks to our ever-gracious host for making this happen. It was a Blast!
tomteriffic Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The photos prove it - I am in desperate need of remedial posing classes! Me too Dave, If you need a spotter, just holler.I just called Most Esteemed Redhead over to my corner of the room and scrolled through the photos and said "THAT, is why we need to go to Minneapolis....". She agreed.
earachemyeye Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 There was some sweat flying down there! My guitar was covered with it. OR it could of been drool since that rock diva Pam was there..... it must be ERICS!!...it coudn't have been meeeee. BTW thanks Bruce for another great time. You've got it covered my friend. Joe
hikarateboy Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Now isnt that a beautiful guitar I am amazed no one else on the hfc jumped on it before I did after it was posted on the board for what I feel was an extremely low price. Special FMs are an undervalued guitar folks, crap I just let the secret out.
MCChris Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Jams at the 4321 Club are mandatory - bus, train, car, whatever it takes, make it a priority. Truer words were never typed. I'm sorry I missed this one. I hope to be at the next one.

BillW Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Yep - once again I missed a doozy, huh? I guess I'm destined to never meet Pam...sigh... Yeah, the wife decided this being my only weekend off this month that we needed to head to New Ulm...figures .....I am no longer in control of my life - once you say "I do" you're toast ...it's true, I've tried to deny it, tried to rationalize it away, but ... I am now a living, breathing wallet who does chores around the house. What bliss!!Looks like a great time was had - maybe I should just not show up each time and then you'll have a better and better time until you reach a state that even caligula would envypeace, -Bill
MCChris Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 maybe I should just not show up each time and then you'll have a better and better time until you reach a state that even caligula would envy Same here. The one I attended was a total sausage fest ...
