When the new issue of VINTAGE GUITAR MAGAZINE hits the stands, the report on page 17 about the James Burton guitar weekend in Shreveport includes photos taken by the redoubtable Kizanski. Not bad for a Noo Yawkah...know whut ah mean, Vern? The issue should be on the stands in about a week. WGM/VGM

Where can I get a copy? None of my local retailers sell them.

contact the magazine thru its web site (is it against policy to print the link here?)

And while I dissed Fun City in the original post, I heard a good joke about folks in my part of the country:

Q: What does redneck foreplay sound like?

A: "You awake?"

Am I the only one getting creeped out by my hand on Poe's ass? It looks like some giant five-pronged mole-pimple or something. I feel creepy. It's making me think impure thoughts.

A redneck goes to his doctor because he's constipated. The doctor gives him a vial filled with suppositories.

The redneck goes back to the doctor a week later with the same problem. The doctor asks him, "Well Jed, have you been taking your medicine?"

The redneck says, "Of course I have, doc! What do you think I've been doing with 'em, shovin' 'em up my ass?"

Vintage Guitar Mag Online

I've been a subscriber since 1990 - good stuff in there.

Here's a great little example of Kiz's work at the Burton festival...

Not only a great pic of Eric Johnson, but possibly the only time you'll see him playing a Fender Telecaster!

You all are famous or infamous ummm

Looked at that and ok, Kizanski has pics published and Willie G Moseley is a writer?

BASS SPACE

The Hamer Blitz

With its angular body, pointy headstock, and “unique” finish, the Illinois-based Hamer’s Gibson Explorer-inspired bass was the epitome of ’80s heavy metal flash. Got Spandex? By Willie G. Moseley

What are a redneck's last words?

"Hey fellas, watch this!"
