BrianM Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Awesomeness. The V is mine and I've been eagerly, but patiently, awaiting updates like this. Always great to see Jay's progress pics no matter which guitar.
carfish7 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Sonofa!Keep 'em coming boss......You inlaying a wolf or something on that Phiga? Installing a weed stash somewhere, or a compartment for some windowpane?
hamerhead Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 And here I thought you made that Vee into that other thing and I was all like what the fuuuu?!? It's magic. But then you didn't and I was all like awwwww balloon burst.
murkat Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Awesomeness. The V is mine and I've been eagerly, but patiently, awaiting updates like this. Always great to see Jay's progress pics no matter which guitar. I thought you might get wind of it.... with all the wood replaced, it's been a slow process to make sure all is cohesive, dried, cured. and the block in the cavity won't allow the Kahler to say hellow to the other bits, and make a solid foundation. The switch will be moved back just a bit... Sonofa! Keep 'em coming boss...... You inlaying a wolf or something on that Phiga? Installing a weed stash somewhere, or a compartment for some windowpane? Hee Hee hee. I'm such a stinker Not my inlay work. But the Phiga needed some help according to the HFC'r. Crop circle inlays ? Yes sir.
svl Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 and the block in the cavity won't allow the Kahler to say hello to the other bits, and make a solid foundation. You had me at Kahler.
svl Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 SUPER tempted to get the '81 bound sunburst Vector Kahlered. Was holding off for "historic" reasons, but she never gets any play because she doesn't have the warbly bits, and she is an unbelievably amazing guitar in tone and "basic" playability not to mention looks. I think I'm going to have to rethink that and send her your way early next year...

You wouldn't have one lying around, would'ja Jay?

GREAT guitars, not only will they take an eye out, they will slice and dice it too!! Enjoy!! Peter
