sixesandsevens Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Yeah, that price seems pretty high. One of the forumites here sold one for under $1400 recently, I think. It popped up on eBay within a month for $1700, I think, but I'm not sure if it sold. Edit: I just saw your post count. Welcome to the HFC.

hamerhead Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Jeez I thought you were talking about Mitch right then.
django49 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Seems high to me........Assuming a friend does not take mine tomorrow evening, I can make my SuperPro available for nearly 50% off the BIN figure on that listing. It has a few changes from stock, partially accounting for the lower price----I can provide details if it is still around by Friday and there is interest.Part of my current round of purging........

Jim P Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Hmmm.....If I'm not mistaken, I could've sworn that the BIN was at $2000 just a little while ago.
django49 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Oops......Looks like that listing was revised...The original listing was for $2000 (BIN). Musta realized that was a WEE BIT optimistic.......Meanwhile, I reckon $875 would a bit on the low side!
cmatthes Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Let me be the first to offer you $700 for yours. ($350 x 2) Seems like an HFC thing to do!
kizanski Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Hmmm.....If I'm not mistaken, I could've sworn that the BIN was at $2000 just a little while ago.It was. Now, if django49 is serious about selling his for a grand, then we need to talk.
django49 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Serious? Sure, if I can net $1k, why not?I will wait until after tomorrow, as someone expressed interest locally (and, BTW, is a contributor herein after all, and a nice guy). There are a few things with it that are not stock and there is one imperfection that is, IMO, minor. But all will be disclosed if not grabbed first.
crunchee Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 "I am selling one of my children here". Maybe the seller needs to take it here (no affiliation): https://www.facebook.com/guitaradoptions
django49 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 My HFC buddy locally seems to prefer my Huber Krautster more than latching into another Hamer. Imagine that! So, I did send a PM to the first person that inquired into my SuperPro for $1k. (I was looking for a LITTLE more but that does not seem like a bad HFC price, so......) Here is a link to the local listing if anyone else is interested should the "first responder" opt out. I think that listing is pretty clear-----Obviously, it is not stock, but seems to be a reasonable price to me.......Happy to talk in more detail. http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/msg/4239256273.html
Jim P Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Nice guitar! Someone is going to get a great deal!
Disturber Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I would not say the Super Pro is like a 335 type of guitar, but with a Fender scale length. More like a Les Paul Supreme, with a Fender scale length. But far better sounding, and it comes stock with way better pickups. Just my two cents....
django49 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 My bad......More aimed at the local area where there is little awareness of what a "Hamer" is. Awkward description of it being semi-hollow sans f-holes. Good point.

Awkward description of it being semi-hollow sans f-holes. Good point.Sorry, didn't mean to be disrespectful to your sales ad. I was just typing my thoughts... I have to say that top is spectacular. That is one super nice top, just killer! A great looking Super Pro. And the price is silly. Can't believe it has not sold yet.
django49 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 No offense taken.....I need to use a different language when talking to people that call to inquire about "Yer Hammer"........And, often, have to talk a lot more S-L-O-W-L-Y.
bluesuedeshoes Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 we worked out a deal. i just bought it.
sixesandsevens Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Congrats. That's a beauty. I normally don't love a jazzburst, but that's the second JB SuperPro that's made me go "wow". I'm not sure what it is about the shape, but it works for me on that one.
bluesuedeshoes Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 once it arrives i'll be sure to post some more pics.
