LucSulla Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Too good not to share. 4:42 is one of the most gracefully executed mistakes that I've ever seen. (No Hamers were harmed in the making of this video.)http://youtu.be/Y87ToaFYY3o
BlueRedWhite Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Jon Bon Jovi's ass.... sorry what what this post about??? what is that guitar hula hoop thing?? What a dumb move!!!
Bennyboy-UK Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 4:42 that thing goes in to the ground like a fucking dart!
LucSulla Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 It really is epic. I hope no one behind the stage was killed.
crunchee Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'll bet the guitar 'sling' accounts for a good chunk of broken guitars for sale on FeePay.
DBraz Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 4.42 I did that with my trusty Charvel back in the day but luckily with less vigour. It was already on it's way back round and just landed bottom down on the stage. It was still plugged in, made a big kerrrrrchunnnnggg sound and I knelt down and carried on regardless with it on my knee still perfectly in tune and intact. Good times.
RichRS6 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 This is why all my guitars have straplocks and I don't use effects pedals.Best one I can remember was the bassist mid song putting his foot on the monitor which was on top of a 4x12 flight case at the front of the stage, someone forgot to lock the castors and it rolled away, he did the splits and went down head first. We had to stop playing, no one could stop laughing.
Studio Custom Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I highly doubt all that footage is from 2014 given the guitar flip trick became passe in 1991.
Biz Prof Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Please tell me that the dude playing at 5:00pm is putting on. To be sure, no one is that awful whilst thinking otherwise.
JGale Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Times Square Guitar Centerhttp://youtu.be/qIgiYvis3OY
gorch Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 That's an old video. I have seen this one the other year. Still great.
JohnnyB Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Please tell me that the dude playing at 5:00pm is putting on. To be sure, no one is that awful whilst thinking otherwise. When's the last time you were at a Guitar Center?
Biz Prof Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Please tell me that the dude playing at 5:00pm is putting on. To be sure, no one is that awful whilst thinking otherwise. When's the last time you were at a Guitar Center?Only the second time in five years yesterday in Charlotte. It was so bad, it cemented why I never go into a GC.
Crimsontider Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 3:03 is appropriate without getting political. Plus I can relate to it.Is it me, or does the younger generation tear up shit in record numbers. I still have my kids stuff in an attack, my son doesn't know where any of the $8000+ worth if instruments. laptops, phones etc. that I bought him over the years. None! While I still have my Stretch Armstrong, Evil Kenevil Stunt Bike and Colecovision tucked away somewhere.
