There are a number of guitars he had done by Hamer over the years as giveaways or for fundraisers/auctions/donations. He didn't really play or own those for any appreciable time though.

Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, and KISS have been offering stage played guitars for ridiculous prices. Someone plays a guitar/bass one time, signs it, that's it. People are paying thousands for those instruments. Someone was offering the pair of Hamer Rick Nielsen models on eBay for a high price recently. Somewhere out there, someone is willing to pay for anything that has a connection to a famous player.

Those were/are Hamer Futuras....one an import 'player', the other an Ultra-RARE, USA-made Korina model (only 6-8 known to exist?). Yep, that set is worth $4,500 in my view....I really like this model, and would love to own them if I had the cash.

There are 36 of the Korina RN models and a handful (maybe a dozen or so?) of the NON-RN Korina Futuras. The one in the auction was a RN Sig model, not the latter.
