Well, its attached to a guitar :P

Phantom #2 Up on the block, we took a pretty much NOS 90's Phantom, stripped it, did a Sustainblock Conversion, added a neck pickup and a second three way switch to make it even more versatile. I started this project 2 years ago and it just took some time, I had Jay do all the mods and Stike did the Pelham Blue Sparkle. It turned out fantastic and sounded and played like Phantom #1. Its pretty hard to find 2 guitars that sound the same and these two do. I want $1000.00 Plus actual shipping and paypal

It is boxed up and ready to ship.

Inspiration was the Elliot Easton SG.

90's Phantom was SUPER CLEAN to start with.

Basically, a Kinda new, custom, customized Hamer brototype guitar, stupid cheap.

That paintjob is unreal.

All of them, but the last one shows a hit of color change in the sparkle. Any color difference is in the sparkle not the primary color. The Logo on this one is even like NEW. You cannot build one for this price period. I did it because I did not want to mod Phantom #1 further that it is and I had another version in mind. It was a blast doing and it turned out just as is should have. I'm going to pay for the Shishkov, the journey was a blast.

the pictures I took with my Nikon D3000 does not do the true color and detail any justice.

was very hard to capture what is going on with it.

I did my best, and still not as good as compared to your eyes.

the flake, sparkle, hues of blue just bounce too much to capture.

It is very nice.

Thanks Jay, it is impressive work. Everyone that touched this guitar did a great job. Jay's wiring is very nice under the hood and he made me a believer in running a pickup in Parallel, I would pretty much leave the neck pickup like that when I play it.

If I looked at that blue sparkle finish once, I looked at it a hundred times!

But not good timing for me right at the moment.

Ha! Nice grab!

Yes, these threads are downright dangerous and need warning labels or something - crap! :D

I looked at Stike's insane paint work one to many times and then read that Jay had worked all that magic under the hood and was screwed. The toy fund is already running a deficit, so one of the heard will be for sale here soon - not sure which one yet.

I can't wait to see it, play it and finger-hump it. :)

Oh, the Phantom TOO Custom arrived at its new home today - wowza. I'll post photos later in the week, I'm trying to get over the damn stomach bug (again :( ) but my day got really awesome despite feeling pretty crappy.

First - its crazy solid and heavy as a dead minister - noticeably heavier than my last Phantom Custom. Damn, that must be some really bad-ass, dense mahogany those Hamer boys used! Stikes' paint work on this Phantom is incredible - first class all the way. It looks like its about an inch deep and is almost iridescent - no photos I've seen do it justice in real life. Jay - as expected, your work looks impeccable, setup is really low and the SB looks factory, switches logically placed - excellent work. I'll do my best to not disgrace everyone's efforts on it with any bad tones! No guarantees though. ;)

I'm in "one in and one out" mode - so, I'll have to figure out what gets sold here in a bit, but for now life is really good.

A big thanks to Bubs who tossed in a couple of HFC guitar picks that were taped to the outside of the box. Even the UPS guy was asking questions about what kind of guitar it was. Great tease!
