First that came to mind ( was gonna get it back then): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hamer-USA-Chaparral-Elite-MINTy-Solid-Maple-Case-WOW-Californian-183A-/200931733663?nma=true&si=Jsgi00ViLexNFc%2B8z2qpsin73BE%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

They are nice guitars, no doubt about that. And there's not many of them circling around, but they come up once in a while here and there.

Here's another one :

HamChapMaple.jpg

the first one is from 2013, does not have a sustaniac.

the second one also has the sustaniac removed, like mine.

not as pretty as mine, hehe, but they do exist. thanks for the pictures.

could you tell me the link of the second one with the sustaniac? thanks

I don't really care if you believe me or not.  I'm on the road out of town and away from a computer, and will take my knowledge on the subject over yours 24/7/365.

no pics, i don´t belive you.

How about extensive Hamer knowledge? The Matthes Bros. have more Hamer Knowledge then you will ever have bro! Good luck with your sale but your not going to pull the wool over the 🐑 sheep's eyes here. I'm sure it is a fine instrument but this is the most knowledgeable fan clubs online! Especially the M Bros. Those two guys and a few others here could school you on Hamer stuff if you had an open mind! Best damn website ever. That being said you guys have guided me to some really fine instruments. Damn you guys! You suck at the same time as being the best ever!  Money, you can't take it with you right? Just my 2 cents which don't mean shit!

TomiBoogie, you should've stopped  your writings at last page. You showed that it's legit, it was enough. Now you ask the most knowledgeable people here for some proof? If you do not trust what people say here, how can we trust you with few thousands of dollars?
I think you forgot one important thing - THIS IS HAMER FAN CLUB, and most of guys here are either collectors, lifetime enthusiasts, or big fans. And we all know how much things cost and how rare they are. So I think you should stop talking and start listening. Everybody is nice and gentleman here on the board, but sometimes they bite.

Is it possible that he was joking?

I mean, I hope not, but it's possible.

This.

I took it to be along the lines of : "Pics or it didn't happen"  not a challenge to Chris' wealth of knowledge on the topic. But I could be wrong.

Not sure about jokes in the postings, but those 15 last bids do look like a joke  . I think the last serious bid was from the guy with 2516 FBs.

Yeah, I'm not prepared to call anyone a cheat, but that doesn't look good.

This on the other hand I'm not too crazy about.

I believe that's what reserves are for. So that the people interested in your item know that they have a chance at winning it, not that it might get pulled out from under them when the time starts ticking down to Zero.

It's always a good idea for new kids in the playground to get a feel for things before they try to show everyone up!

In my time here this stuff never works out the way the Newbi thinks it will
