Hamer Improv No. 6 for sale

Hi HFC members.  I’ve owned No. 6  for over 10 years now.  Bought it from the original owner, a local collector, and I’ve played it very little so it’s in excellent condition.  I found this photo on the internet which I took in 2009 and posted on the Ovation Fan Club forums where I am a long time member.  When I toured the Hamer factory in 2007, I met Jol and was shown how well these fine instruments were made.  I then ordered a Monoco III with Lollar pups and abalone purfling everywhere which has been my primary gigging guitar ever since.  I also determined to some day own an Improv which I also was able to acquire soon thereafter.  I’m now retired and my wife and I are considering downsizing so I may be losing my band room, which means I need to cut down on my gear.  If you’ve always wanted an Improv, here is a fine example in excellent condition.  I’ll put on a new set of D’Addario Chrome 11-50 jazz strings and ship it in its factory case anywhere within the CONUS for $4,595.  I’m also open to offers, but I’m trying to cut back the inventory (now down to 50 guitars and 16 amps) so no trades.  Send me a PM if you’d like more photos.  Brad

Here’s a few more shots of No. 6. My plan is to leave it posted here for awhile, probably dropping the price every few weeks or so until it eventually hits bottom, then I’ll post it over on Reverb. I need a pretty blanket for a backdrop.
