cynic Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Most of this is from 1983. The headstock and finish are 2016. At one point this was known as Hamer Blitz 3 7515 in metallic blue. It's new 4-digit styled headstock carries no serial number. Here's the laundry list...all luthier activities were done by Jay at NTL, all finish work done by Stike at ROWYCO. Headstock was repaired and reformatted (pattern made from Hamer Standard 0227). Fingerboard was leveled and got new frets. Big gaping strap button hole on upper horn was filled. Tuners were swapped for Hipshot lockers. Original pots/wiring changed for new. Original Hamer Slammer pickups, jack, and switch were retained. What's been done since: Original 1983 Hamer sustainblock with narrow saddles replaced by MannMade sustainblock with human-sized saddles. Issues: There is the slightest gap visible between the treble side of the pickup surrounds and the body (see photos). That's it. Weight is 8lb 4oz. Neck measures 0.88" at the 1st fret and 0.91" at the 12th. I'd like to net $3.50 on this, so that's $3.50 friends and family or $3.91 using regular Paypal. I'm also open to Venmo or Zelle, but still need to net $3.50 no matter the method. Non-original modern Hamer USA Standard case is included. Shipping is FREE to the lower 48. Commemorative chunk of original headstock included. If you'd like high-res photos shoot me a PM and include your email address.

ebradfordrich Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Whoa. That’s a beaut. Reminds me very much of the standards that Pete Willis and Steve Clark played back in the early days.
Bobby Marshall Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I love these Murkat makeovers. You’ve got mail.
Steve Haynie Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 That is a cool Blitz. Everything looks right.
