I put off my search for a Newport after I bought my latest Koll Duo Glide. I figured there was too much crossover between them but this Newport is somewhat unique. We’ll see!
django49 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 I have some regrets on letting that one very special Newport go. I also liked my Grantura a lot, but it also got nudged out by a couple guitars I liked better. And, actually, one of them is a Hamer.

DaveL Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 The problem is their inventory system. They put the cases in the system for a penny and there really is no traceability when they get returned. Once had a clerk tell me a particular guitar got returned 5 times and he could not see where the case was They probably all returned it because it had no case.
supergenius365 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I worked at a GC for 9 days. I can assure you that there is/as no system for keeping track of cases - new or used. One of the many reasons I quit was that while I was in the back trying to find THE case for a new SG for a customer, another employee swooped in with an aftermarket case and got credit the sale.
