MCChris Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Zinky's a speculator. The Special K represents Hamer's status as the new Gibson, which means the value of its guitars is soaring even as we speak. Play it once and then flip it for 3 grand more than what you paid for it? Shit yeah, I'd do it too!
hardheartedbill Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 what makes you think Willcutt sold it for a grand?

JohnnyB Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 A friend of mine at the local music shop just "brokered" a deal for a 1960 Les Paul standard$190,000! >>>> is supposed to climb to $250,000 within two years ...A couple years ago my neighborhood store, Guitarville, brokered a '58 LP Std. for around $240K. I have a friend who bought an early '60 (built to '59 specs) LP Custom 3-PAF Black Beauty in 1998 for $9K. I wonder what the value of that one is now.
