Tortex seem to work better with a little moisture. I got in the habit of wetting my first finger and thumb and rarely drop one anymore. Only took 40 years to figure that out. -

1" spade bit from the side. Cover resulting holes with duct tape (checkerboard, if you're feeling fancy). -

There are so many picks scattered around my house they're like bread crumbs leading from room to room. So I never really lose them - one's always handy. ETA: I just looked up Blue Chip picks. $35. For one. ONE?? Ho. Lee. Fu. Ck. I KNOW I'm not good enough for those. Pass the Tortex, please! -
