As an additional perspective- and let me get this established straight away 'causes some folks won't take this too kindly- I have been spending a bit of time on both the LE and the HA Cali. Gotta say, by virtue of the Butala neck D profile, 12- 16" radius and the jumbo frets, the HA has a distinct advantage over the purebred Cali LE for my preferences. YMMV.

NOT SO FAST I purchased the guitar saturday morning at 7:29 am got an conformation email that payment was expected.Called the shop at 4:30 pm and ask if they could give me a discount a Newport they had since I had bought the monaco that morning.He gave me a discount and I bought the Newport and he said both guitars would ship on monday.Today I noticed only 1 shipment number so i contacted them and ask if it was both guitars shipping with 1 number.He informed me that they sold the Monaco II to someone else the day before I bought it BUYER BEWARE

I've done some stupid stuff in my day under that influence. But they were really thought out, mind you.

I bought it, never seen one,didn't know the existed but had to have it.I also bought one of the newports they had.

Really nice Mirage II in good shape. Has some wear from existing in the world for 30+ years like minor dents and some swirl marks but nothing major. The frets are in great shape and were recently crowned and polished. The Koa top has great 3D depth and its always tough to capture them in photos compared to maple tops IMO. The nut has been replaced with polished unbleached bone. The pickups are Tonerider Birminghams, which are quite nice PAF-style humbuckers. Push-pull on the tone pot splits the coils. This guitar didn't have a case when I got it but it will ship in a gig bag and be well packed. $1499 plus shipping depending on location. It probably won't be expensive. Would also consider trades for other Hamers.

I would be much more tempted if I hadn't bought a studio custom just a few months ago! Yours does seem like a really good deal too.

Did you pick it up, by any chance? Just wondering if it's a reasonable weight. The GC in Rockford had one that felt like it was 10 lbs. or more.

That was so dumb it drained me of the ability to say something about it. The rest of my day is going to be spent trying to recover from being dragged down by that level of stupidity. You know, @Submariner85, you really ruined my day.
