  2. Seths wouldn't be stock for a Monaco. If they're original it must have been a custom order.
  3. This could be as big as the one Pat Boone did of the genre......
  4. A Tally Pro was your FIRST Hamer? That is setting the bar quite high! Enjoy the SS!
  5. My recently-acquired Monaco Monaco has SD Seth Lovers which are a low wind and they sound fab in this guitar. I usually change out stock pickups, but not this time. The guitar is bright, articulate, and very sweet sounding. I say go for it. I think the spruce top benefits from a lower output pickup. My Newport did as well.
  6. Today
  7. Apparently so — will leave @diablo175 to confirm
  8. Probably a guitar for a specific tonal palette. Sorry, I had to...
  9. Size 12. They fit like 13...available and brand new.
  10. No it didn’t , it was in IN. i think I saw the one in Florida … it was also very clean.
  11. Warmoth can make a Cali replacement neck?
  12. Yesterday
  13. I contacted him when this was listed and he’s potentially also selling the warmoth neck this had with it at some point. Maple fretboard with black boomers, for anyone interested.
  14. They’ve always been a fantastic-sounding live band - it didn’t hurt that they were playing in the “Mini-9:30 Club” (The Atlantis, next door to the real 9:30, and a replica of the old one on F St, NW). I highly recommend catching them if they’re ever within a reasonable distance of you!
  15. What goes up, must come down...
  16. Oops. Sorry for the additional post on this topic. Didn’t check to see if anybody else had posted about his passing. 🤦🏻
  17. This one kinda hit me in the feels. I had been exposed to blood sweat and tears as a boy via their eponymous album that was given to my older sister, who then quickly handed it down to me. Apparently she did not find the dynamic mixture of rock, blues, and jazz all that appealing. Even back then as a sheltered, white suburban kid, I recognized the incredible energy and soul in his singing. RIP David Clayton-Thomas!
  18. At least there'll be one child born in this world to carry on, to carry on.
  19. Age 84, and a great voice for his music! https://www.theguardian.com/music/2026/jun/25/david-clayton-thomas-singer-dies
  20. "Put your boots on and man up!" - Steve Stevens 🤣
  21. I suffered from inflammatory arthritis in the 90s. It stopped me from playing altogether for several years. Believe it or not, a round of poweful antibiotics eliminated it. I've been taking some of the newer injectible T-cell inhibitors for years, and it has enabled me to play more easily. I have permanent joint damage in my left index finger, which makes it nearly impossible to play open chords like C, so I have had to learn different fingerings and voicings. Osteoarthritis is a different animal. I know some people respond well to glucosamin and chondrointin. I would get it diagnosed.
