  2. Probably not close enough, but.....I have a pair from a Hamer Vanguard, which I think would make it the late 90s. One is labeled 2NL, but no sticker on the other one. I am assuming it would be a "B" something, but really do not know.
  3. A pair of 4 digits. 😎👍❤️🏁
  4. Today
  5. Same guitar all night, multiple tunings, a bank of pedals, super engaging. He used a different tuning on nearly every song but was so quick about it - while talking to the crowd - that it didn't affect the flow at all. Superb playing - if I were to be hypercritical there was maybe one slightly muted note all night, but otherwise spot on. I luckily had an unobstructed view of the 4-foot-high stage from the flat floor (shitty folding chairs) and the room sounded great. In fact, the room (which did actually sell out) was about the perfect size for the type of stuff he does - too much bigger and the fine details might get lost. And there was a shitload of fine details. I caught myself more than once with my mouth wide open at what just happened (see what I did there?). A very cool - and inspiring - show. Get tickets NOW.
  6. Me too!!! Attila emailed yesterady AM saying he was beginning to cut for the body and neck. Woohoo!!!
  7. I'm looking forward to see your completed V
  8. It’s a great piece of kit no doubt! Almost like a tremolo version of the Evertune system (I didn’t get on with that tbh). Price will stop people buying it unfortunately. A properly setup Floyd is good enough for me…
  9. Thanks, but my new Shea is the only thing on my radar right now. I'm exhibiting at the Tampa show next week and will be selling some stuff. After that, I'll probably go back on the prowl.
  10. If you want to try one (assuming the La Voce model is appealing) Guitar Center has a used one at a better price than others listed on line if you apply their current temporary 10% discount. Good for 7 more days.
  11. I am sorry for our loss, @UncleGreg.
  12. Nope… I bought something that was a decent used price on a Monday. When the promo came out later that week, they adjusted it for me Pretty happy. If your purchase is within the last 45 days, you should ask them to adjust it (basically they return it and rebill it)
  13. Well aware of that, too. BUT... can the Kahler Steeler do drop D or any other number of alternate tunings without a D Tuna and/or unlocking the nut? Do the saddles on the Steeler have 3 direction adjustability to set almost any intonation, action or string spacing? Seriously though watch the video- they list, in much greater detail, it's attributes and capabilities. I can save you and anyone else a good bit of time and pointless debate by saying I've done my due diligence in researching the options. Ya know, like, trem systems are kinda my thing.
  14. Fuck the band... I wish that was my backyard patio, I'd never go back in the house... I can already smell the BBQ grill 😋
  15. No, the edge can’t, but the Kaylor Steeler, their Floyd variant, absolutely can. Just push the bar straight toward the floor, and it’s locked. Grab it to use it, and it’s unlocked.
  16. They've done that for me also. Bought a used guitar. They started a 10% off sale past my return date but I called anyways. They gave me a 10% refund, no questions asked.
  17. That trem may be expensive, but for someone who has a collection of guitars there will be a time to start expanding into experimental parts. That is how a Peterson strobe tuner ended up in my possession. @diablo175 has a good reason for the Shark. Go for it!
  18. It's a set neck construction so, you're likely seeing where the neck is glued in and then routed over for the neck p'up? I need to ask Attila about that...
  19. In fairness, the Edge and the Shark are an apples to oranges comparison. The Shark is closer to a Kahler mechanically (and as someone who is NOT a fan of Kahler cam bridges, that in of itself is somewhat remarkable). Per my earlier post, the selling point of the Shark is being able to lock it, on the fly, into a fixed bridge. Not aware of the Edge being capable of that, or am I missing something? I'm not trying to sell anyone on a $800 bridge. If I weren't in the financial situation that I am, I wouldn't be even thinking about it, either. But it does address numerous issues and sets up the distinct possibility of only needing to bring one ax to a gig/appearance. I can do fixed bridge, drop tuned and fully floating tunes all on the same ax. To me, that's worth the 800 clams. YMMV
  20. Your diagram looks like the neck pup is under the neck...? I want to get a V someday.
  21. That trem looks great, but the price blows it up big time
