  3. "Put your boots on and man up!" - Steve Stevens 🤣
  4. I suffered from inflammatory arthritis in the 90s. It stopped me from playing altogether for several years. Believe it or not, a round of poweful antibiotics eliminated it. I've been taking some of the newer injectible T-cell inhibitors for years, and it has enabled me to play more easily. I have permanent joint damage in my left index finger, which makes it nearly impossible to play open chords like C, so I have had to learn different fingerings and voicings. Osteoarthritis is a different animal. I know some people respond well to glucosamin and chondrointin. I would get it diagnosed.

  6. For me, owning a lot of guitars has zero attraction. I've owned four Hamers for years, and have no desire to own more. Amps and pedals, on the other hand... I am in constant search for the 'best' Plexi preamp pedal, the 'best' boost pedal. I'm 90 percent happy with my current performance rig but whenever Tone King or Friedman or Tubesteader makes a new preamp pedal, it's like a moth to a flame.
  7. Original Burny Randy Rhoads Custom. Mid 80's made in Japan and in 100% original condition. Condition is near perfect. Fernandes Burny, as many know, captured the sound and the mystique of the real thing with their offerings in this early 1980s period. Japanese luthiers' accuracy in detail is unmatched. I am not interested in trades. Cash sale only! If you want it, I have it. Not too many of these around. This Authentic 85/86 Matsumoku built Burny Randy Rhoads Les Paul has a volute, the only one of the Randy Rhodes iterations to actually have the correct 70's volute Link to my craigslist ad provided. 9. Sounds like a good option. FWIW, I have used Audioengine systems and they seem to do a very good job at either desktop or larger room sound at a very fair price.
  10. Acoustic guitar players rarely bend strings. SRV was trying to do the equivalent of bending up two tones on an acoustic. It was a lot of work that few people would ever notice.
  11. Sadly, Tried them once..speakers did not fit in the car and all the connectors were wrong. Sent it all back. a lot of work taking the door apart for nothing! arniez
  12. Boy, I'd hate to try bending those! 😂
  13. Yeah...I wonder why it was dismantled??
  14. Yup, that was his... There's no blade switch... sacrilege, that the guy separated and is selling the body 😳
  15. Yo Jim!! Is this one of yours from the past??
  16. Yep. I've used them many times for their install kits and instructions for your particular car. I never had any problems with them.
  17. Back when the interwebs first got going I signed up for a Crutchfield web account. After I got signed in I was checking my account settings and happened to click on "Orders." My first order, a set of door speakers for my 1991 Mazda B2200 LE-5 I bought (by telephone, mind you) years earlier in 1994 was listed! I've bought tons of stuff from Crutchfield and have never been disappointed. I still have extra speaker cable in my attic (the rest of it is in the walls) ordered from them when I built our house back in 1997. I bought cable and junction boxes and it all came with labels and a host of other instructions / tips.

  19. Nice guitar. I love my prototype, not the same but similar
  20. Do I still have a chance to get the boots????.......
  21. Yep, the whole SRV-thing was so laughable. Hearing/reading about guitarists using .012-13s in standard tuning. "I like the guitar to fight me a little." WhyTF would you want THAT? I've no interest in my guitars making me their pegboy.
  22. just, pre acknowleabement. I didn't watch the video. based on the title... This assumes that I would make progress. As they say assume and make an ass out of U and ME Chasing gear is fun. Chasing sounds is fun. Chasing improvement in recordings is fun. That is why I do any of this anymore. Until I was 23 or 24 it was to make it big as a rock star... Then it was to have fun as a musician and recording nut. Definitely did not become rock star. but Have fun using this stuff over the last 50 years. HELL YEA! Now I will go and watch the video while my latest stupid video for my friends renders....
